Spot any difference compare to the previous T&C? Any changes for latest revision? smile.gif
*
Briefly compared the two. Changes I found (section numbers are based on new TnC document unless otherwise stated):

1) [Section 3.1] Online retail transactions from overseas websites (subject to payment in foreign currency i.e. other than MYR) now gets you 2 AEON points for every RM spent. The previous TnC did not mention this at all.
2) [Section 6.1b & Section 6.4] Added clarification that RM50 WATAMI Dining Rebate will be utilised to offset against subsequent retail transactions in local WATAMI restaurants by both principal and supplementary cardholders. In the previous TnC, this was mentioned in [Section 6.5] only.
3) [Section 6.1f] Added clarification that RM30 annual fee is charged if annual fee waiver requirement isn't met. Supplementary cards have no annual fees whatsoever.

appreciate u can update what CS told u about this bounce back

I only called Maybank but not Aeon. CS mentioned that there was no details regarding the rejection, suggested me to check with Aeon/Citibank instead. So I guess like what ronnie suggeted, Maybank probably want us to use the bill payment option instead.

Most of them keep promoting the other Aeon credit card instead, no idea why. I had to keep insisting that I want the watami card when I applied few months ago.

As per kenlui above, agents are not well trained

Don't say u want 3%, after Management realize and withdraw the card

Say lah u like to eat at Watami and want the additional discount

Reason because they are AEON cards agent, not co-branded Watami agents.
Most often than not, they are probably not trained about Watami card. Only the gurus in the forum knows about this card.

This is finally explained in the T&C smile.gif
As long as the transaction amount is in foreign currency (besides MYR), we will get 2X Bonus Points via AEON WATAMI CC

You sure 3% cb is too low for you?? tongue.gif Not applicable low to certain category of payment which considered high as most of the LYN forumers are using it for here.

Applied at AEON Midvalley during the member sale today, hope it can approve.

I ask whether can apply both AEON cards at once, the girl said cannot so I chose Watami only. Not sure why though.

I was informed there is no GST on AEON cards as they are not bank facility but I remember seeing people mention they got charge. Not sure the sale personnel trying to con me or what.

So is there GST charge? If yes, anyway to offset it?

I received 2 free dessert voucher and 1 AEON RM10 voucher. Guess I already profited even before I got the card thumbup.gif

Current TnC mentions "RM50 Cash Rebate for Principal Card and RM25 Cash Rebate for Supplementary Card with minimum two (2) retail transactions charged to the card within 60 days of card approval." So you can treat that as your GST waiver thumbup.gif

Good for you.
I didn't manage to get the free dessert voucher and the RM10 voucher.

As for GST, i can confirm to you that there is GST. It's already reflected in the online system.
