Based on my experience of buying an AP set of Mi3. The phone is using the normal sim card size, not micro sim. I was using a micro sim card previously with my Sony phone, and I had to use an adapter to fit into the Mi3 Sim Card tray. If you plan to buy AP set, always check with the shop assistant, try their demo units. Make sure the language is fully in English. Go to settings, about phone, and check if the phone is running on MiUI.

After buying the AP set, refer to the first page of this thread on how to check if your AP set of XiaoMi is a clone set or original AP set. Clone set usually uses different specs and resolution. You can also go to XiaoMi forum to download the APK file to check whether your phone is fake or not.

I've use Google Launcher since few weeks ago.. u need to install Google Search & Google Now Launcher, give full permission to both apps, then go to Setting > Default app Settings > Launcher > set to Google Search. then u're good to go.

I'm thinking of getting mi3, should i buy it or wait for mi4? i like redmi note but the internal of 8gb isnt just my preference
