goncang... dun quite get you, but it mostly depend on the road.

You can get more stability by adding strut bars, changing springs, changing absorbers, lowering your ride, chassis stiffening.

Do all the mods above or just do some until u get the stability you want. I did all the above, so 155km/h is not a problem.

oic.. i also think dat the road is the reason.. lebuhraya pantai timur is the worst highway i've ever experience.. the road.. really not 'rata' lorr.. very dangerous to 'pecut' there..

p/s : juz adding some bodykits.. cannot go up a slope in front of my home.. now need to park da car outside da home compound.. laugh.gif

OIC......thanks for the explanatory, i guess i learned something new then... smile.gif

I tot the guys were implying that u had to smoke ure headlamp abit...to make it distinctive....

kekekek ni budak baru belajar pasal Angel eyes....

Delsol....aiks ur car masuk hospital eh? So big a deal the problem?

Ok small question guys...i was listening to the radio abt a month back 90.3 to be exact and there is this Traffic segment where the Ass. Director of JPJ is there...Che Mat.

He says that there is a proper way to warm up and drive an Auto Tranny car...like for eg. In the morning, u run thru each gear for abt 2 secs till ure car's temp reaches the first bar and thats abt 40`C and u can go off, but u must engage the gear in say 2 or 3 depending on ure car's tranny and from there slowly drive till u reach abt 20 mph before swapping back to D. When u reach a Traffic lite, if ure stopping for more than 30 secs, u should drop to N. If not u should drop to low gear 2 or 3 and then repeat the steps to engage back to D.

Question is, does this apply to CVT? Does the gear box differ in anyway with conventional? According to Che Mat, this is the proper way to take care of ure gear box....and prolong its longevity...

I need a myth buster here.... ! smile.gif

bro,
the headlamps of the CRX is smoked.

smoked in a sense that the reflective portion of the headlamp is sprayed black (would it make sense to say the base of the headlamp, instead of the clear glass/plastic of the headlamps?), except for reflector encasing the headlamp bulbs.

i hope it doesn't confuse you with headlamps with the clear plastic/glass in front of the headlamp which were sprayed with a thin layer of black, or tinted with black tint.

edit: i checked the sportivo bestari.. and it has projectors as well as reflectors but the base is not.. it's either dark grey or titanium colour wink.gif

I have no idea what you are talking about, but according to the manual, in the mornings we can just start the car and drive off in 1 minute. There are no temperature meter in CTs anyway so most of us don't know when it reaches 40C.

nah, in the morning once i start up the engine.. i will drive off..rather let it glide by itself. jus tap lightly on the accelerator n usualyl doesnt reach till 40kmph even till the cold engine lights off.u will notice the jerkin when u're movin with the cold indicator on. its engaged in low gear to warm up the engine faster.

really..? damn.. if i know earlier, i will not install da bodykit.. spoiler only is enough.. but juz the lip in front dat cannot lepas.. on rear it is ok..

guys, if i change the tires as well as the rims, will it affects the stability, speed or fuel consumptions..?

when the tire thread is thin. all depends on you bro, wider one gives you better handling but more contact with the road means more friction=FC. thicker ones give u comfort but u lose a lil on pickup. whats the spec of ur current one?

Dear al CTzens,

my wife collected the car back today at 5pm( i was in meeting), and CONFIRMED CVT/gearbox has to be replaced. It will take about 1 week to process the "order" and replacement parts to be delivered.

They hve checked the car "thoroughly" and found some "compressed air" problem
and it does effect 2004 models and not the current models. Dont ask me abt the "compressed air" problem as i was not there to enquire. Will do so 2molo.

Warranty sadly was told only till my 3rd year ownership of the car ie
September 2007. Any other problems after that "sendiri" tanggung!!!

So now, will hve to re-send the car in somewhere next week for the replacement
which would take a day or two, but the GM has told me a replacement CT wld be
given during the period (not everyone wld get this) so stay tuned.
