QUOTE(zenix @ Aug 27 2006, 11:18 PM)
where you did the fumigating thing?
its just for the smell or it also kills small insects living in the car?

for people who often eat in their cars and don't keep it clean sure will have roaches then lizards.

BTW Goodyear Eagle F1 is good but kinda expensive, Ducaro kinda noisy for me compared to the Yoko's I had earlier can't remember the model though. You know the engine is very quiet so the tyre noise will always be the loudest noise.
*
I did it in CARS International...i was in Klang so i did it in Klang Parade.

First they wash ure car... after that when its abt 50 to 70 % dry...they start ure car up
switch on the aircond, then they put a small box like contraption the size of the jumbo gardenia bread and then they close all doors whilst the car is running.

On the out side where to cables are at, there is a switch to indicate whether the car
is cool enuff on the inside, they switch on the power and the small gadget starts spewing out white smog to circulate ure whole car including ure vents, under ure seats and all around. The whole car is covered and from out side u see its like 10 idiots smoking in ure car man....can't see a thing...

Later after abt 5 to 10 mins, the smog dissipates and they take out the gadget, let it sit for another minute or two....they will test to see if the car ain't stuffy then they verify that its all good for u to go in and thats all...process takes abt 15 minutes i'd say....

Nice effect, to know that u can kill any dust mites, bacterias and stuffs to ensure ure family is safe lor...

mydelsol....mind telling me where u went to install the horn?

i am interested in installing it properly on my city oso...need to show the bikes my presense

i was AWOL coz i very bz at home....anyways.... i nearly accident on Friday evening...

was at Kelana Jaya stretch and it was raining very heavily & plus it was so jammed....i signal to go left lane, check no bikes and b4 i cud complete turn a bike skidded and fell on its side....the fella hantam with hand on my car door...

i parked at the side n waited then saw it was a geeky girl carrying a knapsack, wearing rain coat, i asked HER why no see my signal and why ride so fast in the middle of 2 cars???!!! she said i signal last minute and taruk turn....bugger i see since no damage to car i give her Rm 50 to see doctor and treat any cuts...but she give me attitude...lagi lah i naik angin man....scolded her and said "if u noticed I DO NOT HAVE damage and u fell by ure self...its raining and u were in the middle of the 2 cars riding fast...i can just drive off but i stopped to ask u nicely...so dun give me attitude or else i can just drive off aite"....long story short....she took the RM 50 and i split....

when i naik kereta....i thank gawd that no car from behind golek her kepala when she fell man....if not i oso dunno what to do.... sigh doh.gif

very lucky that day....must be more carefull and maybe just maybe age is catching up with my eyesights man.... sad.gif

thats why mydelsol....i need the HORN please help!!!! maybe we can go together on a weekday lunch time or something man...yam cha and cit cat

actually its not the gender of the driver/rider which is the question....man/woman....sama saje... if u suck u suck...

thing is....it was raining SUPER heavy and she was flying in between cars...i guess to balik kampung since she was carrying a very heavy knapsack....when she skidded the weight of the bag made her unbalanced and so she fell lor...

its not something anyone wants to happen....now i more carefull when i signal during jams man....if possible i dun wann to enter a jam at all...prefer to jalan further route....that day in Jalan Imbi oso got a bike scrape my side view mirror EVEN when i retracted it....shows that sometimes they can be very annoying and irresponsible...luckily i rub wax and polish it away....(ruber stains from handle)

sigh....overseas different...they dun allow lane splitting in UK and US which i think is good if implemented here....u line up like car and if it is raining go wait it out la...cannot selok belok in between cars....alot of accidents happen that way when they wanna overtake haphazardly....

sigh....ramblings of an old fogey...... sad.gif

mydelsol - i will call them guys....

brudder Jackie....what to do...like mydelsol...

i oso worry abt warranty issue...if the quality of workmanship is ensured and the quality ori...ok la....

Rm 175 is above average price...but think of the hassle if they ain't pro-honda....like when i tinting at Air Cool, they broke one of my door plastic clip and i was pissed, lucky they replace it with similar one... so i prefer those who have experience dismantling honda city parts to those like ala-bruddders Accessories....quality of the cables tied and how neat it looks also important to me...since i am quite meticulous in those aspects...if it ain't neat and nice...i ain't happy and if i ain't happy i bring the smack down on the fella heheh smile.gif

awwwwwrite.....they fixed it at abt 4 pm....phew...

u know wat mydelsol...i think they pulling my leg....at first they tell me they think the sound was present even b4 the car was brought it....

i was like the car is new....its under warranty, why would i need to cook up a story to claim warranty...i'd just straight claim it la....

samo....i told them....i'm not the type of customer to f**king fly off the handle and screw them...i just want a solution so that we all can carry on with life happily....so they say ok they'd look into it...

so 1hour later they told me a bracket was loose and they tightened it and it was all good....i said...sure there's no major damage? and they say its ok....

i suspect they no tighten the brackets la....when bukak bumper and all....but its ok so long as its all good...

nice ppl....Ms. Wong, Chris and i think it was Fung....

Thanks for recommending the place to me mydelsol....nice ppl and u know what....they took only 1/2 hour to install my horn....the extra time was due to the "ticking" sound.... smile.gif

Cheers....

p/s : the horn RAWKS!!!! motors, kancil, even 4X4 oso give way when i horn the hella twin tone horns....

maybe i should look into those El-Cucaracha horns..... tongue.gif
