Hope can get some feedback from any of you who may have had a similar problem like mine, here goes.

Our beloved City is having a major identity crisis, it thinks it's a plane! It has been trying to "take-off" for the past 2 weeks, and it's really worrying my wife and me! At normal driving (110 and below since we are good citizens )
the cabin sounds really like a plane!

Have booked coming Thursday for a "technical" evaluation by the Ground Crew of Honda SC in PJ.
Anyone else had this problem?

please make sure you at least have a PPL (private pilot license) before taking off.

u might want to consider adding a radar to the car. Otherwise you can't fly at night.

i thought this sound is normal?
when i cruise up to 100km/h, then let go, can hear like the airplane sound.

NOPE not normal since I have owned this car since 2004 till lately, never had this sound
just recently maybe past 2-3 weeks it started, so am a bit worried as my wife drives it most of the time
anyone else...

The usual blame it on the wife story again?

Anyway, have you added anything else recently that contributes to that noise? a new radio, tyre, some engine mods or maybe bodykit?

I heard the same also yesterday. But very low. If didnt listen carefully wont notice much.

City window tinted, What suitable for economic budget? RM4-500 ?? Sparkling grey colour.

How much it cost for City window tinted normally? Dunno much about car. Some say around my price range some say 1k-2k.. wah need tat much meh?

IF your budget RM500/- you can go for Ecotint or maybe RikeCool(i think) Im using Vkool on City and Ecotint on Myvi, both
to me equally good lar....but mine both above RM1K

my car 2 1/2 year already, still dun have aeroplane sound, but air-cond compressor about to ko already... hope can claim warranty.

ready by 3-4pm later today. According to him, still under warranty, thank GOD keep you guys posted
on outcome in the next few days

This kinda remember me during my first week getting a new City. My wife opened the door from inside and a 'bump' noise was heard... she accidentaly well.. slightly banged the door and kena this next car parked beside us. Then i told her to be careful nanti kemek (in a.. well... slightly raised tone oso), and my wife told me "huk huk abang dah dapat kereta baru dah tak sayangkan syg lagi.. pun kene marah"

Kesian kesian...

But i do love my wife more than my car.. both oso cannot kemek2 one..

anyways, my aeroplane sound has been fixed, totally NO sound what so ever now some wheel bearing thingy, will get the
receipt and write down what it said later today...

my reverse sensor got problem....keep on beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep only....send to honda service...see wat they say later
