Manufacture by Shell Thai? Shell also dun have refinery in Thai.i dun get it. Did they mean packing izzit?

Sorry, I've thrown the bottle away after changing the oil. The back label did mentioned that the oil is blended by Shell and is imported by Tan Chong Motors Malaysia from Thailand.

I got the below info from Lazada.

So meaning still not good enough because of Group 3 instead of Group 4?

last month i bought semi-syn 10w/40 nissan EO at Aeon..
its stated there ...manufactured by Total Oil asia

should i use 0w20 or 0w30 honda engine oil for 2013 honda city car with 130k ++ mileage .. it is a six year car now..

Anyone use before 0w20 for honda city and comment?

how you know that honda 0W30 oil uses PAO based oil (Group IV) ?? any cross reference? and how to see if other brand engine oil use PAO?

I have an old Honda Accord with 225000KM on it, my dad's old car la, he refuses to use any synthetic oil and only used mineral oil like Shell Helix HX5 15W-40 or Castrol GTX and so far the engine runs fine, nothing special. He even uses Castrol GTX 15W-40 in his Mercedes for 11000KM then only do oil change, he told me the mechanic said the engine still very clean even tho the car is 15 years old with 260000KM.

Do you think it's a good idea to change to semi-synthetic 10W-40 A3/B4 oil? Will it have better FC or pickup?

Or just stay with Shell Helix HX5? Sorry for all the questions I'm really noob and just started learning about all these things about car maintenance

Driving 7 years old myvi 1.5 now.
Previously using full synthetic 5W-30 engine oil.
Saw Tesco selling cheap shell helix ultra 5w-40.
Should I change to 40 or stick with 30 ?

Btw may I ask if 0w20 is suitable for turbocharged cars such as Exora Turbo. The manual suggests (not recommends) 10w30 on its chart for optimum temperature .
The car is a weekend / off peak car also. My kind of driving style is a mixture of normal driving and sometimes short burst of turbo acceleration . no track racing.

Hi all experts. I want to ask which engine oil is better? I went into two petrol station and check out their oil varities for my upcoming servicing. Thus was wondering which oil is better since the price is almost RM100 differences for both fully syn.

Thinking to try other oil from my current ride where my driving condition is jam and high speed.

1. Petronas Syntium 3000 5W-30 retails at RM180
2. Shell Helix Ultra 5w-30 : retails at RM277

Which is better in terms of 10k intervals? I am looking for oil that protects many year to come.

so i have changed to liqui moly bought from paulhew @ shopee on early march. that was before i start to wfh then MCO kicks in.
since then, i'm working from home and does not drive as often.

but i can tell you. i feel this oil is quite good. can feel smooth as well. whether it is possible to be fake or not. no way to tell.
