I scaned the code on Shell Helix Ultra to find out if the oil is genuine. It brings up a link pg. Upon selecting the link it brings up Shell official website. Nothing in the web pg to clarify if oil is genuine!

What engine oil should I use for my 2015 Mazda 3? Mileage 108k.

IINM Mazda uses w30 oil. If you've been servicing it at regular intervals, you can stick to that weight.

Actually I have to first say that my engine is a campro rojak.
Head from a Persona IAFM+. Pistons from BLm and were bored out very slightly. 76.5mm. Block is the same from 2009. My campro is the basic version. Very old.

It was overhauled last year to fit in the stuff i mentioned above.

So with that said, I did some digging to find out what oil is used in which variant.
Campro normal - 20w50 (IDK why so thick)
Campro IAFM (persona) - 10w30
Campro CPS - 10w30
Saga BLM 1.3 - 10w30 (if im not mistaken)

And apparently most of the later campro models actually calls for 10w30 post 2009. I seriously dont understand why.

Final verdict, since most campro block stays the same throughout the entire engine lineup, only difference from variant to variants are maybe the heads, intake manifolds and so on. What i think is, if the bottom end of engine is similar, then I also can safely use 10w30, 5w30, 0w30 like the other campro engine's brothers...? I may be wrong though, so apologies in advance.

Hi, saw u write Paulhew here so i write some review bcos i just bought engine oil from him.

I feel his engine oil is not original, although got code at the front sticker.

1. Smell like used oil from engine and different from original oil smell. Can said is like recycle oil or original mix recycle oil.

2. Color is darker compare to original.

3. Side bottle indicator design is different.

4. Handle of bottle is different.

5. Back of bottle closure is different.

6. Bottle seal is like hard paper, original is foil.

No offence. He sell RM60++, so maybe all cheaper price oil is not original  

Experts here already seen beyond just viscosity but base oil too. Kononnya Ultra has better base oil than HX8 so SHU should be the preferred choice.
