Hi guys, does MBB offer to offset the RM50 service tax during the first year?
*
For this card no.
Why don't wait after April then only apply the card.
By that time, should be no more RM50 gst

MBB VI need Annual Income: RM180,000

No every one can get VI

Other than income requirement, the alternative way to apply for Maybank Visa Infinite or Premier cards is through pledging fixed deposits of RM30,000 and for existing Maybank credit card holder, just use the formula of RM30,000 minus your existing credit limit, the remaining balances would be the amount required to pledge in fixed deposit.

I got the above informations from one of the Head of Maybank Credit Card Centre and it's also stated in LYN's Maybank 2 Cards Premier thread by some forumers. wink.gif

Haha biggrin.gif

For existing cardholder with 50k CL already meet the entitlement for Premier cards, just apply and start to enjoy those complimentary PPL access, complimentary golf green fees, 50% dining offers, etc.... with a mere RM100 GST that come with 20k activation points, it's no brainer not to apply unless one doesn't utilise any of the above mentioned benefits at all. tongue.gif

Upon approval of Maybank 2 Cards Premier, activate the cards by a call to Maybank Premier team, performs some transaction on both the Amex Reserve & Visa Infinite, and wait for the 1st statement which would reflect the following, "RESERVE ACTIVATION TP 20,000" wink.gif

Hi maskedchan, I do have a supplementary card but yet to receive the additional 10k activation point.

My Premier principal card was approved in early December 2014, whereby the supplementary card applied and approved few days later, received 1st statement on mid January 2015 stating the Reserve Activation 20k but the 10k extra activation of supp card is nowhere to be seen despite of thousands spent on each of the supp card.

Mind to share whether your supp card extra 10k activation points received on the 1st statement or 2nd, 3rd statement after the approval? hmm.gif

Yes, shouldn't be a problem at all as one can hold multiple type of credit cards offered by the same bank as long as they meet the requirement.

The bank translate that to more product holding per customer which is good for them. biggrin.gif

Exactly my situation as well. Although not interested in FD, few k is no harm also.

Paying 550 per year, just top up 250 to enjoy better benefit.

Yup, open up a 5k FD if you only want to meet the minimum requirement or you could more. smile.gif

I could also direct you to the Maybank Card Centre staff who assisted my Premier Cards application to assist you if you want to.

My purpose is just to help both the staff and the Manager of the Card Centre as they had done some favor for me so just thought of helping them in return as well. wink.gif
