MBB VI need Annual Income: RM180,000

No every one can get VI

Other than income requirement, the alternative way to apply for Maybank Visa Infinite or Premier cards is through pledging fixed deposits of RM30,000 and for existing Maybank credit card holder, just use the formula of RM30,000 minus your existing credit limit, the remaining balances would be the amount required to pledge in fixed deposit.

I got the above informations from one of the Head of Maybank Credit Card Centre and it's also stated in LYN's Maybank 2 Cards Premier thread by some forumers. wink.gif

So if existing cardholder has a CL of rm50k, the bank would pledge an fd with u for rm20k. tongue.gif
*
Haha biggrin.gif

For existing cardholder with 50k CL already meet the entitlement for Premier cards, just apply and start to enjoy those complimentary PPL access, complimentary golf green fees, 50% dining offers, etc.... with a mere RM100 GST that come with 20k activation points, it's no brainer not to apply unless one doesn't utilise any of the above mentioned benefits at all. tongue.gif

20k activation points? How so?
*
Upon approval of Maybank 2 Cards Premier, activate the cards by a call to Maybank Premier team, performs some transaction on both the Amex Reserve & Visa Infinite, and wait for the 1st statement which would reflect the following, "RESERVE ACTIVATION TP 20,000" wink.gif

extra 10k activation points if you have supplementary card
*
Hi maskedchan, I do have a supplementary card but yet to receive the additional 10k activation point.

My Premier principal card was approved in early December 2014, whereby the supplementary card applied and approved few days later, received 1st statement on mid January 2015 stating the Reserve Activation 20k but the 10k extra activation of supp card is nowhere to be seen despite of thousands spent on each of the supp card.

Mind to share whether your supp card extra 10k activation points received on the 1st statement or 2nd, 3rd statement after the approval? hmm.gif

Ohh nice i should proceed top up abit in fd and get premier 2 cards thumbup.gif

But i just got my mbb VS 2 or 3 months ago, can i proceed apply for new premier card? hmm.gif
*
Yes, shouldn't be a problem at all as one can hold multiple type of credit cards offered by the same bank as long as they meet the requirement.

The bank translate that to more product holding per customer which is good for them. biggrin.gif

current signature CL is 25k, so all i need is to deposit the remaining 5k to get the premier cards? sounds too good to be true, i wouldnt mind having those cards considering the perks that come with it, although im not a believer of FD...
*
Yup, open up a 5k FD if you only want to meet the minimum requirement or you could more. smile.gif

I could also direct you to the Maybank Card Centre staff who assisted my Premier Cards application to assist you if you want to.

My purpose is just to help both the staff and the Manager of the Card Centre as they had done some favor for me so just thought of helping them in return as well. wink.gif

went to gardens card centre in the noon to apply for this card.. mainly aim for the airport lounge, as i fully utilized my mb2card always...

my monthly income is around 11k... submitted my EPF statement only... checked m2u just now, got my platinum's limit increased.. not sure if my VS is approved... tough luck i believe, as they might have rejected it and chose to upgrade my CL.. not sure if the CL is shared across all cards...
*
Base on monthly income of 11k validated through EPF statement is already more than good for them to approve the card unless CCRIS record doesn't match the criteria. Look at the bright side man. smile.gif

Lol hard to say. Maybe they rejected my VS application but increase my CL cause they always submit both forms together
Yup CL double my salary. Maybank is famous for being stingy when comes to CL. Always double your salary only
*
I agree that Maybank is damn stingy in offering CL. rclxub.gif

By the way, my CL is somewhere around 4 times of my monthly salary. sweat.gif

got the card approved... saw in M2U this morning... i guess maybe i've been with maybank for merely 2 years+ only.. therefore the lower CL compared to the rest of the veterans

citibank gives the best CL IMHO
*
Congratulations!! rclxms.gif

See, as I said, look at the bright side and the sun shall shine upon you. biggrin.gif

By the way, I started using Maybank card only on June 2014 by applying for Amex Platinum Credit Card, and move on to Premier 2 Cards on December 2014, so I didn't even exceed a year, yet they increase my CL to somewhere around 4 times of my average monthly pays.

I guess partly may due to my spending and payment history with them even though it's only for 5 month when I apply for the Premier card.

And yeah, I agree that Citibank offer the best CL, how I wish Citibank CL can be my Maybank CL for me to utilise the card. laugh.gif
