Extended from BU along sg kayu ara , go underground start from pencala tunnel to MRT 3 at Sri Hartamas/Mont Kiara then heading towards KL sentral/Muzium Negara. I think they should increase interchange in LRT3 so this line can be more relevant. But I'm pretty sure those TTDI people would object just like MRT before.

Based on Wikipedia, the LRT 3 is 6 six car train set with length 374 ft and width 8ft 10 in. MRT 1 length is 4 car train set train set with length 294 ft and width 10ft.

So, I think because the longer in the length of train set allow LRT 3 to carry more passenger.

It would also mean that the station of LRT 3 will be longer compare to MRT 1.

Obviously then, this LRT is created to have more passenger volume than MRT but connecting nowhere, is't that dumb? I mean who are these people planning this project... At least MRT 2 have at least 11 interchanges. MRT 3 will be much more.. Seriously?

I'm done.

You cant compare the ridership at this moment bcos one is relative new and one has been around for 15yrs?

Mrt is the future for most countries. Even bangkok main lines are mrt.

if compare to HK route map,

our interchange better than them.

interchange mostly too close and next station only.

will study japan lrt soon.

if refer to HK news, resident always miss 2 to 4 trains in morning peak hours.
example, 20 minutes travel require 1 hour travel in morning peak hour.

people always Q for the train but wait long long to enter the train.

Can some1 who live japan before share ur experience.
