Today i wiped the data, flashed the latest KitKat ROM to my mi3, and rooted it as well.

The ROM still have bugs, if you are not android savvy and worry to take risk then better don't upgrade yet. Wait for another few weeks for bugs fixing.

I'm wondering that you guys that have call drop problems updated the phone OTA or via desktop? Mine seems fine (Maxis user), the only thing is that the GPS works at first, but once you turn it off and turn it back on, it goes weird. Loading GPS seemed like forever, especially in Waze. Still haven't find a way to resolve this, maybe I should do full ROM download and install?

U update mine through ota did a factory restored as well, yet the signal drop still occur. And to be more precise I using hotlink prepaid 1gb data

Yeap, I'm in Sabah, no such problem. I think the GPS problem is due to because I was in indoors, just tested outdoor, seem fine.

The only single bug now is that I can't set my browser default page to about:blank which previously worked fine. Anyone can enlighten me? I really like the default browser more than Chrome.

Until now it is still in same condition.
So i downloaded WCDMA Malaysia roms and tried to flash it and it showed "The system cannot find the file specified 0X800700002".
