I wonder...will this latest stable Kitkat version force the Maxis users to give up their Maxis line and jump to other telcos so that they can utilize the Kitkat rom? I know this sound crazy, but I think this is possible....

Did Xiaomi renamed the whole ROMs for countries besides China to be the same (ie: KXDMIBE18.0)?


I guess they're really following Apple footsteps as it'll be faster to roll out updates but they seriously need to beef up the dev team, too many bugs early on

A bit late but better than not knowing at all 

Though you can't really do that if the app is in a folder

Hi, ayam going to buy this phone tonight. But after read several pages on this and previous tered I found this model got some minor problem.

Can some one actually compile the common problem about this phone? Currently using Lenovo Vibe X and hope to get some clue here.

I want to ask, if I buy AP set from directd, do I need to flash to Malaysia ROM or I am alright with whatever stable ROM that is installed in the phone?

Anyone here using Google Now Launcher ? How do you set the launcher as default when you press home button ?

i'm having a problem of drop call as well.. could u send me a link of how to update to dev rom ? does updating to dev rom delete everything i have on phone ?

is there anyway to remove CWM? and change everything back to stock?

if i flash a new rom with miflash..will it remove CWM?

for those who like me using maxis on kitkat, currently they provide me with new modem firmware to be flash on the phone. after flashing it, i havent yet got any drop calls and my gps is working again. only on data part where when u make/receive calls, the data is automatically turn off and when u finish the call, it turn back on with delays. i think this is the solution they try make.

it still in beta though.

anyone can confirm this method work for Kitkat Stable Rom?

some only want to stick to "stable" version.. as long as there's some way to root it, we can help them find..
