Why not recommend coz can re-lock the bootloader back...

Mine bought trough Vmall.my on the 1st August 2014 (Friday) and received the phone on 2nd August 2014 (Saturday) ... very efficient and fast service..

Wah so fast, I track my delivery it says WITH COURIER since Thursday morning until now haven't deliver

Better give their Customer Service a call then tomorrow... chase them.... expedite, expedite ...

Think! If one needs to send the device back for warranty, do you think they still have chance to relock?
For example, nas, his h3c usb port is broken, do you think he can still relock it? Think again, and read more.

True what, Vmall send the thing already, courier no deliver/delay kao kao then courier fault

CityLink courier service right? Did any tracking online and called them? Yahh... CityLink is quite lousy, not that much reliable due to they're using contract drivers (transports) for certain coverage area. My company also still using their service... really headache sometimes when it comes to urgency.

I think it depends 1 la...my twice previous purchase from vmall also delivered within 24 hours by citylink.

If everything ok, should be able to re-lock and send for warranty.
Maybe faulty part not related to usb or m/b.
Screen got line or camera kenot focus or speaker no sound or bla bla bla...

And, why you say once unlock bootloader, the phone sure can revive back? Is bootloader related to brick?

My case is different. Everything was fine and I didn't notice my port was giving problems until I attempted to back up and unlock bootloader the day before.

I removed battery and setup everything and when about to plug the cable in when notice can't plug it in. I confirmed it was plugged in the correct orientation which the longer side facing top.

Furthermore I just recharge using the same cable two days ago.. Now just have to wait for the quote for repair. Can't really argue or reason with them because to them it was user carelessness even though I know if wasn't my fault anyway. It could be my unit was with a defective port and was a time bomb just waiting to explode.

Yea yea it can used to unbrick... yes yes bootloader has to do with the brick but it's more to incompatible issue.
And if you trust the XDA guide then you have trust me either because i wrote the guides, and if you don't,
you will have to wait until someone else who had solved this problem before to provide you the solution....

I guess it might be a 64 bit cpu, either snapdragon 410 or mt6732, since blowing off apple A7 I assumed

No bro, I mean I feel note confident to unbrick her phone after listening what you said. Don't get it wrong bro, I dont blame anyone if her phone brick because I understand the rules, no one is responsible for the brick phone.

Well, back to topic, it's almost impossible to hard brick this device, no matter what you can always recover it.
I have to admit it was my fault that i forgot to take locked BL into my consideration when providing the solutions, my bad.
The earlier solution was suggested because during my tests i was able to restore even my BL is still locked.
Perhaps my understanding about this device is still poor.
