Anyone heard or tried lewaOS before? [Video] [DL for Honor 3C]

Will start to compose guides tonight! Learned lots of interesting stuffs about this device past few days.
I think there is another way to root this device, even on locked bootloader, so can skip vroot because i don't like it as it install 'bonus' suspicious app beside rooting it.

I think i read from somewhere some ppl got it working with older version of xposed optimized for EMUI.
I heard newer versions might have conflict with EMUI theme, not sure, haven't got time to test, quite busy with the guides recently.
After finish the guides then can start exploring...

I'm not sure if it's just me or what, i feel the latest KitKat build very sluggish, sometimes the home screen icons take few seconds to re-appear after you close an app, battery life drains 1% every few minutes even i am just playing around at homescreen/settings..., but standby ok... perhaps the battery got charged from my laptop USB port... hmm...

There could be some other incompatible issues there beside the modem... so, not recommended for daily use...


Btw, GameSky, do you know where sitescope uploaded B108 mirror? Couldn't not find it on your folder.

Anyone managed to get custom ringtone working without performing full reset? (For those facing the issue..)

Ok ok, i think i asked the wrong question, i mean to change the ringtone from among the built-in ringtones.
I know factory reset works because i just did that, but i can't ask my sis to do the same because i spent hours to teach her how to set this & that when she first got the device.

Btw my guides are ready but files are not... the thread will be ready by tonight.

Anyone can provide me hosts/ftp that support uploading large file for temporary storage? ~700 MB.
I need to upload large file which will be downloaded to my mediafire account using remote upload feature.
My line is just too slow for web upload, my only hope now is ftp....

Did you get the bootloop after installing custom recovery through Mobileuncle?

If that is the case you just need to restore signed recovery.img using unbrick method found on first page.

What is the current status of the phone? are you able to fully power off the phone?
Try remove the battery for few minutes before re-inserting it to the phone.

Should be able atleast boot into recovery by holding down [Vol up] then press & hold [Power], when fully powered off.

Check your PM, sent you some file to test, i hope you have external sdcard reader/writter, if not use other phone.
Extract the zip and copy the whole folder to your sdcard, then power on the phone, tell me what you see/get.
