hi guys, anyone of u having loose USB port?
not just about the physical movement of the plugged in cable
but even the connection with PC becomes unstable, gerak sikit also reconnect O_O

so far no problem.. you unplug it too hard?

I think I have to send my phone to the service center due to the faulty usb port. In all my experience using phones with micro-USB, this is the first time I'm encountering this issue. Don't know how long will it take to fix.

1:1 exchange might take up to 1 month...

sure arrr can chg coz they will claim this is user fault... coz abuse the port...

Just a question. Does this phone have LED notification?

couldn't wait until this weekend so this morning wake-up early and "force" upgrade my h3c to kitkat...
after few considerations, i've decided to use "flufy-tendo" ROM...
now after 3 hours of using it, so far so good, no freeze or error msg appeared...

before start , unsure ur bootloader has been unlocked (follow this guide)

step by step :-

a) dload following files :-
ROM
patch
CWM (so sad that all 3 cwm provided by summerwind are not compatible with this ROM)
ModemFix

b) copy ROM , patch & ModemFix (in zip format) to ur ext SD card

c) flash CWM by follow below steps :-

1. take out the battery & disconnect the usb
2. extract CWM to c:\
3. run c:\CWM_flashtool_Honor_Dalet11\flash_tool.exe
4. click scatter-loading
5. browse to c:\CWM_flashtool_Honor_Dalet11\CWM\MT6582_Android_scatter
6. tick DA DL all with checksum
7. press f9
8. connect the usb (w/out the battery)
9. wait until green circle appeared

d) insert the battery , press volume up & down & power simultaneously to bring up the CWM

e) as usual , factory reset , clear dalvik cache

f) install zip from sd card , browse to ur ext sd card and select the ROM

g) once completed , install zip from sd card , browse to ur ext sd card and select the patch

h) once completed , install zip from sd card , browse to ur ext sd card and select the ModemFix

i) reboot

as usual , 1st boot will take about 5-7 minutes then violaaa...

few improvements :-
- built-in camera now can mute
- when start-up , free memory is 1.4gb

the rest looks similar with 4.2.2 , 3g & wifi signal look same , battery not sure how the performance , will rpt back after 3-4 days...

The packaging is great but don't know why, the phone screen out of the packaging, was very dirty.

I immediately cleaned it and applied Nillkin Tempered Glass.

BTW, it came with xxxxxB108 build number and received a system update. Should I update it?

yes... update to b113...

The UI is quite usable, actually takes less tap to get things done. The simple mode is a bit too ugly, maybe its goof for the visually impaired. Old ppl might be too embarrassed to use it.
If you are a UI person, I think some xiaomi is better, but if you are a spec person, 3c is just so damn value for money. It just feels great to see those RM700 lenovo, huawei phones in the market got far lower spec than RM500 3c.

shh... you will anger those colleagues who bought some lexxxx, oxxx etc... that 1/2 the spec with RM300-400+ pricier than h3c

1st question, she bought AP or thru vmall ?

I already updated it to B113. But strangely Hangout became slow after I update the app too. Reverted to stock version of Hangout, still slow. I wondered what happened.

She has three options:
#1) Proceed with KitKat & use Live Recovery to apply modem fix, but can't use upgrade further unless she unlock it.
#2) Use SPFT to revert back B108 4.2, then use OTA to update to latest B113.
#3) Revert to B115 4.2 using UPDATE.APP (Ahead of Malaysia OTA B113)

Guide for all options can be found HERE, option #2 is recommended for normal user.

Only MY set will lose IMEI, AP set can upgrade without any problem.
