Guys, my 5 days old city already clocked 500km mileage. This Friday me and family will go holiday from kl to johor, so i think by then the mileage will be more than 1000km. So my question now is, since the first service should be made on 1000km mileage, say if my car when i come back from holiday is 1200km mileage, will it still be okay for the first service? Will honda void my warranty coz already exceed their service conditions which is 1000km mileage?

don't exceed 1500km. I do at 1250km.

Thanks for the advise. So there was no problem when u sent your? Did the service centre was the one who told u that cannot exceed 1500km for the first service? and actually the first service they just visualize check right? No change oil or anything right?

here is the story begin..
a) Sat (11 Oct) - test drive car, make car booking and pass my tender car plate number
b) then i'm away on business trip for a week and bank cannot contact me.
c) On monday - 20 Oct, bank call to ask few questions and within 2 hours my application approved as i've received maybank sms.
d) on tueday -21 Oct, bank call me to tell me the bank rate and request to sign agreement at designated bank which i prefer.
e) Few minutes after bank called, my honda SA called me to tell me the good news about bank, car has allocated and currently on the way from factory. Requested to prepare bank draft and get ready to receive car.

I was stunned by how fast everything goes...

Alright 1 major issue or rather the stupidity of Honda Malaysia I have with them is the lack of the ability to watch video while on the go for safety reason, WTH !!
any idiot knows the driver won't watch movie while he is driving duh ~ its for the passengers and gps usage!!
so i saw on page 1 the bypass solution for screen mirroring ... I have a couple of question hope sifus can help.

1. Does method 2,3,4 voids warranty ? or only method 1 does voids ?
2. after installing the bypass (any method) does it only allows screen mirroring while driving or also allows watching movie/videos on the USB during motion/driving ?


P.S does installing the RM450 reverse camera (or any other brands) also voids the honda warranty ?

How long car battery can last on honda city? How about the keyless car key? Can we replace the car battery and keyless car key from outside rather than honda?

hmm...basically change anything default will void warranty. Some just keep the old stuff and replace it/revert back before claim warranty and make sure no wire cutting else bye bye on warranty for that part. Examples:- change rim will void suspension, etc.

It make sense on security and prevent watch movie while driving. That's why some prefer to go for E spec. anyway, it is up to people preference.

Don't say stupid Honda for that, most all car won't allow that for security reason. Do research before you talk.

1. Use bypass harness won't void warranty.
2. Yes for mirroring and watching movie.

For the camera, some model come with bypass harness so you don't need to cut any wire, so won't void warranty. For example Epsilon.

Even some Honda SC provide the installation for 3rd party camera but not cheap than do at shop.

If you want better option, go for original, can get multi view option.

Kindly share the places in KL/Selangor to get the Best & Satisfactory Offers for the following: -

1. Brake AutoLock
2. Reverse Camera
3. Trunk Tray
4. A Good Quality Door Visor

Advise the prices of installation, Honda M'sia Warranty Issue after Installed....etc

Went to Kah Motor Chan Sow Lin to service my car just now, really disappointed to see after they finished, got scratch on the bodykit of my car. I complaint to them, at first they didn't want to admit, finally after talk to manager etc, only then they agreed to reimburse me by painting back my bodykit. Really disappointed with their services. Now i have to send my car there again and leave for 2 days for them to paint back my bodykit. Wasting my time.

WTF...How la did they handle your car??

Thats why la bro. Im so f***ing dissapointed. My car only 6 days old. Definitely wont go there again for servicing. The most f*** up part was when they didnt want to admit their mistake. Really pissed off.
