one question here. the tyre valve caps, are they supposed to screw in completely? coz i noticed all 4 caps of my tyres couldn't be screwed in fully.

I have received a call from SA today that I can collect my car on Saturday  . Coating - kind of treatment to have longer lasting wax to your car, give better protection plus easily maintenance. Coating usually come with 1 to 5 years of warranty. There are titanium, Teflon, crystal coat. Some might need returning for touch up every 6 months etc. Some do not need. The most high end coating like adding hardness later to the paint. Existing new car pain with rating of 3H. Some coating can go to 6H, 9H and 12H.

To me, coating is just a burned in wax that last longer.

Waxing - add a layer of wax to protect your car. The wax can wear off 2 to 3 months based on usage and environment effects.

Polishing - to remove the wax content/ smoothen the layer to remove swivel. After the polish process, need to wax it.

All these are my own summary of understanding Pls don't shoot me. To have a better/accurate definition. please refer to online wiki or auto page.

In your case. You can choose to tint 1st or coat 1st. To me is better tint 1st only coat. Tint will need 4 hours and coat might take 4 hours to 1 full day or 2 days.

yes i claim back insurance fron person hit me. Parts change is whole bumper and rear bonet.

but if go to honda back..a lot of procedure to do. from go to police station till to get cover note copy from the person hit me. then go to jalan bandar get original certified copy wait for 1 week for accident report sketch and photo. The process take 2 weeks then after that SC do :-(

Had some black soot on the car, after cleaning with water some still can't come off and I don't want to scratch the white paint. Its all over the top of the car!

Anyone can advice how to clean it? Car wash soap didn't take it off and I didn't want to risk scrubbing too hard.

Good point, how much can you really polish your car? You guys need to learn one or two on detailing before commenting that it is pointless to do a coating and maintain it. And coating has different composition and properties.

I bring out my 5 years old ride, see whether a new car condition is better than it? All I do is a weekly wash by myself, using the right way and a product that is suitable (to own preferences).

hi any bro can advice me is it advisable to send the car for polish and wax since its new?
from what i know, its ok to send for a wax coating to protect the paint than send it for polishing?

well, having said that meguairs ultimate polish will make clear coat thinner too?
