Hmm...u confirm is speaker decks instead of the 3rd brake light? Maybe u can check the 3rd brake light?
*
my 3rd brake light is very firm now, the soundproof guy open it and stick some foam around it. they also stick foam around the 2 metal rods intersection in the boot. i ask my friend to test drive and i sat at the back, the sound coming from the rear speaker board. hmm.gif

i think i know what the problem.. should be the rear seat didnt lock properly.. fold your rear seat down and close it (with power) to make sure the lock fit nicely.. to make sure it proper locked, the button to release the seat is very hard to press down..
*
i did that, is properly lock too. i sat at the back with my fren test drive, i unfold down the 2 parts of back seat. the sound is still there sweat.gif

the sound coming from rear speaker board inside...

i went back twice to the soundproof shop, with several times of test drive with the guy at the back, still unable to solve it. the guy say the sound coming from the 3 seat belt metal ball bearing and there is no solution for it unless i remove them shocking.gif the guy told me so far they did for others preve no such issue rclxub.gif if so far other preve dont have such issue, then i think my car got some defect liao

and i dont dare bring to sc, scare they might worsen the condition.

i really dont know what to do now, the sound really irritates me. unless i blast the radio, but sometimes i need some silent driving too...

Would be glad if you can share some picture here.

Welcome thumbup.gif

I am waiting for my Preve too.

Too lazy to snap pics and my camera basically has the quality of a potato haha. Basically the same as any other you can find on the net.

Right now I am still trying to get the feel of the car. Quite a heavy car, had some trouble while stopping at a steep slope to take the ticket from the machine. You know la the queue is slow and quite a chore to maintain the car from slipping back down.

Surprisingly I don't have any trouble with slow response or lag as many of the complaints. Accelerating at traffic lights and coming in to roundabouts from stop position I feel is normal and okay.

Good luck and may you get your order as soon as possible. Btw what colour did you choose? smile.gif

Metallic E. Brown and as what i saw under sunlight like gold shining colour so i pick that.

My house got metallic silver car and black already so don`t want the silver.

Owh ya how do you describe steep slope. Because when i test drive the preve at slope it did not roll back. How steep is your slope ?

If you are KL people the slope got as steep as Mid Valley IGB Tower when going up to parking ? ( Because as i know i drove many auto car only that place parking when climbing up will roll down because its too steep. )

Others like Sunway, Subang, PJ Up Town, and many more steep slope i never experience roll back before.

I scare behind people follow too close then the car roll back then there comes problem. Last time at Mid Valley there got people follow kissing my car buttock so near lucky no roll back. Some driver tak sabar sabar rushing and like to follow people near near.

Drive Preve like you would a manual, just like when you did hill test when taking driving license.

1. Stop on hill
2. Foot on brake
3. Pull handbrake
4. Foot OFF brake
5. Foot on accelerator
6. As the car feels like it wants to move, slowly release handbrake

It may not look like it in camera, the that road is VERY STEEP. There's no mall parking in KL that is steeper than that road. Not even the infamous Then Hou Temple road.

At night you can see number plates of cars directly hit by the beam from your headlight. Otherwise they are quite blurry.

Hi,  just got my Fire Red Preve yesterday evening after more than a month waiting for it.  So far enjoying the ride, acceleration is great.

Just want to ask one thing about the braking, there's a continuous gluk gluk sound coming in only when I'm braking and the steering shakes a little bit.  Is it normal for the car as I am just coming to 100KM with it and will it be gone as I rake in the kilometers?

Glad if anybody can enlighten me smile.gif

put dampener on red circle
on the blue circle the vent joint can possibly make the same noise, be careful.. i brush some leather seat treatment on this area from inside the vent.. you can see the joint from inside the aircond vent..

Don't know how to describe it haha. Coming from the Saga FL the slope I never had problem before going up until I drove on it with the Preve. Preve is a heavy car as we know but maybe it's just me having to get used to the car.

Tag me later when you get your new car. I want to hear your experience with it smile.gif.

I'm living nearby JB btw, so long haven't been to mid valley and such haha. Last time was during uni days. Haih feel like old fag already cry.gif cry.gif
