Calm down, sifus sekalian, I don't have a detail plan yet, nor made reservation/check availability. Plan-plan only. The objective is to (from Nagoya) visit Magome and then Noto Peninsula, that’s it.

Nagoya -- (JRtrain) --> Nakatsugawa -- (bus) --> Magome -- (hiking trail) --> Tsumago -- (infrequent bus) --> Nagiso -- (local train) --> Matsumoto -- (highway bus) --> Takayama -- (JRtrain) --> Toyama -- (JRtrain) --> Nanao -- (rental car) --> Noto Peninsula -- (rental car) --> Nanao -- (JRtrain) --> Kanazawa -- (JRtrain) --> Nagoya

Bus or train is interchangeable, whichever is available or less-confusing. So many buses and trains I have to take, I think in the end I have to get JR Pass.



3rd Oct – Touchdown at Chubu, Nagoya
13th Oct – Fly out from Chubu, Nagoya

Days not fixed (haven’t book accommodation)
Transport wishful thinking (haven’t check availability)

Say unlimited ride for a week-type? Or daily pass? I bought a 1 week unlimited pass when I was in Sydney last May..

If available, yes. Public transport in Noto Peninsula is slim to none, I read. Therefore, I also plan to get international driving permit now.

It was different from Normal Romance Car which going to Hakone.
Going Gotemba was Odakyu Limited Express ''Asagiri''
The special one was going Hakone. while other romance car just very normal only.

Impressive. But got one main issue you didn't plan. Those area are high risk landslide area.
Going those area need very precise backup plan.

Last Year Kiso Fukushima to Narai was out of operation due to landslide .

My main issue is I haven't even check if all this is possible, accommodation-wise.

Push comes to shove, maybe I'll get a sleeping bag to sleep on the street, or a tent to camp by the highway.. I know its illegal, but as long as there's no robbers or murderers...
