First time to Japan.
Arriving at Haneda Airport 19-Oct 10.30pm.

My hotel is walking distance from TCAT (Tokyo City Air Terminal).
Is the airport limo bus service operating from airport to TCAT 24 hours (just that midnight to 5am is double) ?

If not, my next option will be by taxi to hotel (google map gave me 18kms distance)

Thanks for guidance.
Good news on sales tax?

Last bus will be 00:15 and price is double.

From my observation earlier this year I realize the rate is always better on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but I couldn't exchange the currency on those days as I have work commitments.

As for the budget, I am very much a backpacker so I survived with only 1.5K for 6 days but I had free accommodation (as my colleague was working there at that time) and 2-3 free meals. Of course with my limited budget (and time) I couldn't afford to go on the shinkansen so I only covered Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto.

From my experience (solo traveler)

~bfast: 200-500 yen (cup noodles is around 150yen)
~lunch / dinner: 800 - 1,500 (consider decent cuz the set got nasi, meat/chicken/fishi, soup n vege) varies on type of restaurant u go

Normally i budget like RM100 per day which include makan (bfast/dinner/lunch), train, entrance fees, abit of shopping.
but it can differ if skip on makan, or get those one day train pass and etc.

n sorry addressing u as "bro" sweat.gif

I'm actually not worried, I still plan to go if they don't wanna go but going with friends on holiday are more fun. But just want to convince to them, just because there's radiation there, doesn't mean we have to boycott it sweat.gif

200years is too short... it need 10k+ years

and if the radiation is too severe, in the next 10years...
the entire japan's north east population will die of cancer
and those baby will be born with genetic mutation...

welcome to x-men world icon_rolleyes.gif

Try talking to them but can't force them if they don't want to. I think you are better off going with others that are not concern about it. If any of them get sick after coming back from that trip, they might blame you for it. dry.gif
