hi i have a question to ask. Its about my passport, i renew it last year April so my passport photo is color one, but my parents they renew it this year like few months ago, so their photo is black and white, different then mine. Both of our passport front cover have that biometric square box, so means i wont have a problem going there is it? As long i have the Biometric chip? thank you and appreciate for the help!

I will be buying 3 day SHURKUDO pass from JTB using Nohi Bus (濃飛). I want to go to Kanazawa from Nagoya. Anyone know if I can/have to book the seat first? And what is the earliest time? Is the link below accurate?

Follow the time table. From Nagoya to Takayama earliest bus was 7.30am at Meitetsu Station bus station or 7.40am at Nagoya Station.
You will arrive Takayama at noon.
From Takayama transfer to Kanazawa line. You will reach Kanazawa at Night.

You still need reserve the seat. First buy pass. Then go Nohi bus web buy bus ticket. When buy bus ticket key in pass number.

Nagoya go to takayama is around 160 minutes. so assume I take 7.30am bus I will reach takayama around 10.30. And takayama to kanazawa is around 2 hours which is 12.30.

But my friend went to JTB to ask and he says the seat cannot reserve online, go japan station only can reserve the seat. And the pass can only be claimed in the station.

November Tips of the Month
Originally it should be Hiroshima Miyajima oyster. Because November to March are Japan oyster season and Hiroshima Oyster are the best. But recently alot forumer here are going Kyoto. Arashiyama are one of top choice.
The food that really capture me at Arashiyama are 嵐山いこい
Location please refer to map. Just beside the Hotel 旅亭 嵐月
During lunch time you can buy thier Bento set Or have a Oden (関東煮) set. Oden are this shop primary selling point.  Best part of this restaurant are the river view.

Why take Bus? Slow and Expensive.

At Nagoya Station to Kanazawa just take Train.

JR Limited Express "Shirasagi"
7200Yen & 3 Hour Journey only
