I got question here did we need valid visa to head to Japan? Because from what I heard from a friend of mine u didn't need visa just Malaysian passport will be enough. How about budget how much should I bring will 2k++ will be sufficient? Cause we're only travel backpacker style.

You may find a lot of info about Japan in this thread. If there's a small chip sign in front of your passport cover then you are not required to have Visa.

I see so if your passport doesn't have one basically you have to apply visa at japanese embassy is it? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I have stayed khaosan Kyoto guesthouse and I would say it's very clean and the staff can speak English very well...they have frequent daily cleaning. The con is bathrooms and shower Rooms are sharing basis and it's limited so u may need to wait in line lol...it was packed when I went there

Well arrive in narita today and staying at Khaosan ninja near Asakusabashi. All I can say the environment is very welcoming and so far travel by train is much better and easy for your to access all the area. I recommend people take the JR EAST PASS now 22000 yen for 5 days you can get access on all JR line including the shinkansen thumbup.gif will continue updating from time to time thumbup.gif
