A simple solution, and I believed not once suggested, to use 3rd party apps like LightFlow.

I've been using Lightflow since day one. It was working up till the last few nightlies.

Yup agreed, however if getting from local store warranty will covered by them, it is like taking risk buying from taobao although the handset also got warranty but only in China.

Local AP waranty is nothing, even its 24 months warranty, but only 1month full warranty and the rest is software waranty, for me its just a crap, you pay extra hundreds for nothing is really ridiculous.

We 're talking about one plus one issue, this is new model and its hard to get replacement parts locally,so retailer gotta import the parts and it takes ages to get it repaired, not about your experience with other phone rolleyes.gif

it's exactly the same because I always buy new released phones on the first day of arrival here. HTC One, Lenovo Vibe X AP, OnePlus AP, Xiaomi Mi3 AP when all when they arrive in Malaysia on the first day. For your info they don't import parts, they just send the phone back to get replacement in the next shipment, normally for regular traders they will order stocks every week.

Xiaomi Mi3 AP first day of arrival has screen bleed, One to One exchange.
Lenovo Vibe X AP battery died after 1 month, took 3 weeks for New replacement unit of the whole phone.

this is already something each of us are aware of when we decide to get this phone. Doesnt matter if China version or international version as OPO is not officially released in any SEA countries.

And I dont think retailer repair themself. They send the whole phone back to China tongue.gif.

I am curious though, is there a teardown for oppo find 7a? Do they share similar parts?

Can't read Chinese but you can compare them yourselves. They may be similar but I'm sure being interchangeable in internal parts is difficult.
