as frozenne told...he got early bird discounts...discounted price is rm320k...that is 100k difference from you...i believe many have taken this discounted price...in conclusion, even your purchased price is increased..you may not have the leverage to compete with those many other discounted price purchasers..we are talking about thousand of units in Savanna alone...for own stay can sleep tight..if for investment ...nowadays even condo/ apts seems oversupplied.. ...anyway, it is not the end of the world

seems not so good for investment for those who wants to purchase now..for own stay, no issue then..

Nothing wrong with purchasing now even if it is for investment as long term trend will always be up. Don't understand why people are fearful on investing after a property has gone up.

I bought a condo a few years back for RM270k, sub sale, about 2 years after completion. Launch price was only RM170k! That's a 60% appreciation not knowing how much can it can up further. Today, asking price is north of RM400k.

This time HaiLat lo!!!!

from 270k to 400k = 130k increase, for how many years holding and location?

Early 2010, so that's 130k increase within 4 years. Location is Jalan Puchong/Old Klang Road. To make matters worse, bank only evaluated the property at RM260k, but because the previous owner was selling it to me partially furnished, he refused to budge from his asking price of RM270k. That means I was buying a property that was over the market price and had to fork out more than RM40k cash for the balance downpayment and also the other miscellaneous fees (lawyer fees for S&P and loan, stamp duty, MRTA....etc).

Old Klang Road/Jalan Puchong might be very happening today, hot property prices but it wasn't like that back in 2010.

condo non-KV i dont want comment much.....just thinking if we invest already no need regret la. Property can make money for long term ma.....
