Hi danishfx,

Mind to share how much and where you got the H&R Sport Springs? And what color is yours? Need some clarification and understanding. Coz some is blue, some is grey and some is black. Mine is black. Perhaps let me know the product number as well??

K&N filter if you have not purchase, you can get it from LYN here. Better price. I got it from Kaito Speed. The seller is Kang Yoon.

How do you plan to do your Twin Pipe Exhaust? Coz our car rear is flat at the bottom. The tip will be below the bottom without any arch to fit the tip? U planning to cut an arch ah??

Thank you my fellow modder..... cool2.gif

danishfx,

Where did you get the H&R Sport Spring from? (From the way i asked, you should know i got it more expensive already cry.gif )

How would the bumper extender help? I cannot imagine. Must potong lubang ah? Coz i got think of doing muffler or muffler tip before. But i did not coz the rear bumper doesnt have an exhaurst tip arch for it to fit in. So the tip will sort of like sit lower than the bumper and protrude out (doesnt look nice).

By the way, once you put the H&R springs, it will not be like a family car anymore. Its ok if you hardly fetch ppl at the back seat. But if you do, you got to drive it VERY VERY carefully. If not, the rear passengers will have a hard time. LOL. Just letting you know my feedback. But take corners now damn shiok la.

If you need the guy's contact for the K&N drop-in, let me know. The price i bought is RM280 including the recharger kit.

Thank you.

Bro look the following picture, than i hope u know how to place the exhaust tip. Ya the H&R Sport Spring i get was the wholesale price. For rear Stiff issue, if u feel not comfort anymore, why not u just use back your rear OEM Spring? so it will balance back the feel. Thanks again for the K&N Air Filter, my friends offer me at RM150 for the Air Filter Itself and RM60 for the Service Kit.

Hi vknight, referring to me?  blush.gif I've collected my car and the experience for the last 4 days was fantastic.  thumbup.gif  Still, cars are meant for years so keeping my finger cross. One reason I choose to be a late buyer is so that any reliability issue can be coped on the production level earlier. I love Peugeot so need to play safe knowing they are not known for reliability and after sales...  sad.gif  I do get very worry like u but I believe it's still depending on luck! I hope I'm right!  icon_rolleyes.gif

Aside to the rest, any way to put air circulation and air con mode on default? I realized I have to manually turn them on after starting engine since I have the habit to off air con before shuting down my car.

Yeah. Just the springs. The H&R Sport Springs i am using is the same as 308.

Bilstein and Koni, i checked already, there is any specification in their website for our 408. But 308 got. I think coz 408 is a China market car, those aftermarket parts manufacturer dont produced specifically for 408. But then again, your tunner can always do a cross check with the part numbers for you to verify is it fits (if they want to do for u).

a bit of news

FRANCE: Peugeot and Citroën to consolidate aftersales operations
By Dave Leggett | 10 September 2014
PSA is to merge two of its aftersales networks currently operating separately to serve customers of the Peugeot and Citroën brands.

The company said that in order to address the challenges of an increasingly competitive market, the Eurorepar brand, created by Citroën in 2003 (1,350 garages in five European countries), and Motaquip Car Service, created by Peugeot in 2012 (300 garages), will be merging their networks on 1 January 2015 to form "Eurorepar Car Service".

The transaction is aimed at improving aftersales support in countries where the two brands are present and increasing the size of the network, while enhancing customer visibility and awareness. The company said it is aligned with PSA Peugeot Citroën's goal of building loyalty among customers who own group vehicles that are more than five years old and developing a multi-brand customer base.

PSA said the new brand will combine the strengths of each of the two networks. These include:

a brand image that highlights the garage's reputation for professional service;
an online rating system that ensures balanced opinions;
the possibility to get a free estimate for standard auto jobs;
nationwide fixed-price car servicing and transparency regarding technical repairs.
A dedicated field team will be set up to provide the Eurorepar Car Service network with day-to-day support. In addition, a customer-oriented advertising campaign will be rolled out.

PSA said that as a result of the merger, Eurorepar Car Service will become the leading multi-brand network in France, "before rising quickly to the top in other European markets where the two brands are already present, and in other parts of the world".

WHAT DOES OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD Means? I wonder.....

Pug owners be very happy with your choice. Don't think other makes are trouble free. Here is a Honda City dilemma. This is a car that is offten benched marked for reliability and Peugeot's reliability in the eyes of Malaysians is poor. From my own experience, I can categorically say Peugeots have come a long way and are now reliable.

All cars have problems, at least ours is not this bad!This is a 2 year old Honda City. My Pug is 2 + years old,I have faced nothing but a dancing coolant temperature indication, which has been fixed. This is a boost of confidence to our new bros and to potential ones reading this thread for information.

Hi all,

PROBLEM : Following up to my problem listed year many years ago. My Honda City has finally irritate me with more severe idling problem to send it to the workshop. Basically my idling has always had an issue when i am engaged on D gear or any other moving gear except N and P. But even when in N its idling isnt very much stable. When i brake to 0, my idling will drop to nearly 100-200 and bounce back up (the feeling is like driving a manual car with bad balancing skill).

*Please note that i only use Honda Oil (engine and Gearbox). Coolant and brake oil are all from Honda as well.

What I have done previously :
1) Changed the spark plug as adviced by the mechanic - didn't change anything. Better firing though.
2) I have cleaned my throttle body 3 times over the past 2 years, resetting the ECU as well - momentary satisfaction but problem reoccur after few minutes of driving.
3) I have flushed my gear oil and replaced with new oil - smooth driving but problem not solved.

So what i have decided to do :
i found a mechanic who has experience in Honda Authorised service center and now is working in one of the workshops at Old Town. As usual i went to have small talk with mechanic and share with them my problem but most of them weren't confident except this guy - he has a lot of experience with the similar.

1) again, we start from scratch, i flushed the gearbox oil - problem not solved (I always refilled/replenish with nearly 2 bottles of CVTF)
2) we cleaned the throttle body and reset ECU - problem not solved
3) new step: we cleaned the manifold as well - problem not solved (but much better)

right now, he is confident that the main issue lies with the FLYWHEEL. After this repair, he is confident that i will not have the problem anymore, because there is nothing else that can cause this problem. He has checked every electronic units with his computer many times to ensure this isnt a gearbox problem.

So right now, I will like to ask if anyone of you have done your flywheel repairs and solved the above mentioned problem? IF you have done it, how much did it cost you?

IM really looking out right here because sometimes, you know how mechanic open price right, they know your problem is big so they whack and in the end you will still spend. Trying to be a smart consumer right here smile.gif

Waiting for your replies. If this really helps, means, GUYS WE HAVE FINALLY SOLVED THIS LONGEST ISSUE EVER.

Thanks smile.gif

That day i ask from Naza Solution for the DVD is RM4500, u can request them to send over to your nearest SC and get SC install for u, and yes it will not void your warranty. For the Daylight, im thinking to install LED flexible Light bar, and for sure it will void a headlight warranty. smile.gif smile.gif
