Mine also having the same problem, my car is only 7 months old....went to sc 3 times, but their solution is temporary, every time i ask them, confirm fixed already?? they say yes, but then few days after the screeching noise comes back. i also don't know what to do already

Just done my 50k service today, my lion is roaring strong again after the major service, wohoo

If I am not wrong mileage must not exceed 20k to claim for warranty. Mine exceeded so planning to change and pay for it in my next service.

care to share how much was it and what additional they do in 50k? mine wil be very sooooon!

I am going to get used Peugeot 408 1.6T 2012 Alpine white from a used car on the 3rd week of Sept.After full inspection for flood or accident, found no issue. i placed the deposit last week. The car mileage just 36K and with full service record & receipts. I found a receipt quoted the previous owner changed Thermostat housing & the thermostat or the thermal sensor not sure which cost RM4.5K under warranty claim. Kindly advise me, what are the main things need to check & replace to prevent any breakdown? Currently, i am using Hyundai & Kia which never breakdown & giving any problem because i did proper maintenance on time.


Kindly recommend me, Where i can get the Eurokit & OEM DVD Player with reasonable price in KL?

Went up to KL last week, nothing much happened except after Seremban, a Passat wanted to play around. So,I played along as I was bored & it was 1 a.m.,not much traffic. Then suddenly, a flash goes off and I looked at the Passat driver as we are alongside each other and we both smiled like idiots as we both know,abis,kena tangkap gambar oredi.

Taking a lesson from this,the journey back to johor was within 110km/h all the way. Well,most of it la. This is for all the fc lovers out there. Filled up at sg besi and exited at ayer hitam toll.

for OEM DVD player .. you can get a a few place :
1. Naza Auto solution - wont void your warranty (if have) .. but they selling price is RM4500 (not include reverse camera).
2. Mudah.my - i have installed with people selling at mudah.my
- price around 1500 - 2000 (not sure have drop price or not)
- will void your warranty (what i do is .. put back the player if send to service or warranty)
- fit to the panel but not so perfectly .. the player slightly bulky abit .. so will look come out abit at the headunit part.
- Steering control working well, can control the middle display panel
3. look for 2nd hand unit of OEM player (griffe upgrade) or other third party player (sacrify middle display panel, some installer may able to make the steering control workable.

your FC is almost half of mine! so far my highway runs (@130km/h) is still averaging 9.5L+/100 sometimes 10L+. going in for my first 10k km service this weekend. hope the FC improves!

50K & 60K consider major service (only can be done on weekdays, thus better arrange 1 month before to avoid disappointment)
Previously 60K was the only major and the amount would be more than 3K and now they separated into 50K & 60K

Also, for those that exceeded 3 years of ownership, 4th & 5th year warranty is Extended Warranty Period (EWP) where in general, things below RM500 is not claimable. Only "huge" items like engine, gearbox etc are covered. The procedure to claim similar to claiming insurance for car repair after accident where approval process might take up to 2 weeks.

Hi did anyone experiencing steering feel heavy and light intermittently? I have been noticing this for about 1 month thinking it was the tyre pressure issue but not really the cause. Can anyone advise if this is normal? I'm driving a 1.6 T white. Your feedback is very much appreciated! Thank you.

You certainly have a problem in steering signal feedback. It's a defective electrical feedback signal that is causing this intermittent feel. Can be dangerous, i'd strongly advice to send the car to your SC.
