Sure bro, do make an appointment with our SC at 03-87419188. Our team will take care of you & your car.

Kindly highlight all your issues with the SC and they have to look into it.

Many thanks.

Just now, I called your SC to quote for the next service. As I read in the first page of this thread, the next major services I should do is during 60k mileage. But According to your SC guy, it should be done during 50k mileage. Is it true? Why should I wasted rm1.7k to do major service right now, because, my car actual mileage not even touching 30k yet. Previous service was done per monthly basis instead mileage basis. So, I don't think a lot of wear/tear item should be change now. Some more, previously stated supposed major service is 60k, the schedule should not be change now either. If I have no choice but to do the major service, then I have to go to other alternative workshop. Sorry..

how about alternator belt/transmission oil? you change that as well? Yes, in the schedule do show to change brake fluid during 40k, as mine was done also by the car dealer, during I bought the car.

just do it as soon as possible and of course check your wallet too

it doesn't do any harm except making your wallet lighter tongue.gif

transmission oil is 60k but since your's a second hand, who knows what the previous owner did right?

For me, for (peace of mind + waste money) Vs (logic + saving money + small % gamble), still the later win..

My car also already void warranty, so, I better go to the suggested independent workshop (earlier in this thread), and get their suggestion as well.

akubaem......If your car is ALREADY CONFIRM void warranty, then no harm send it outside. You are right. It could be cheaper. But then, do take note, just make sure the outside mechanic you go to, they are familiar with Peugeots. Coz not many place can do Peugeot WELL. If you manage to find one that can do Peugeot WELL, please share with all of us fellow Pug owners....If not good wan also share la ok??? So we all know which one to avoid....LOL biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

My car just checked in to Setia Alam. 3 complaints for today.

1. All lights dimming when AC kicks in even while driving and accelerating.
2. Rubber smell in the cabin
3. Brakes intermittently not working. Pedal becomes hard but car not slowing down.

If these guys say no issue just like Glenmarie SC, I'll  take you up on the challenge.

Disappointed yet again. They didn't fix any of the problems.
Their claims are as below.

1. All lights dimming when AC kicks in even while driving and accelerating. - They said they adjusted the lights and issue resolved. Issue is still there.

2. Rubber smell in the cabin - They claimed it was the rubber mat in the car and advised to replace the mat. I took the mat out and drove with the windows open for a bit. Still the same.

3. Brakes intermittently not working. Pedal becomes hard but car not slowing down. - They claimed to have bleed the brakes. Yet to validate as the issue is intermittent.

All in all....very disappointed yet again.
I took a day off to get this sorted because I don't have a second car to use for work and this is what I got from Peugeot. Now I need to wait for another suitable time to arrange an appointment at the new Kajang SC and pray that they don't do the same as the others.

Sigh......if Kajang SC also gives the same kind of service, then it'll be a definite sign to save money and buy another car.....leave the Peugeot camp for good.

Hello guys,

I need your kind help to advise the maximum overdue allowed for periodical service (in both mileage and time).

I will send for my very first inspection of 2500 km but wonder if I can still drive for a hundred or two before the inspection.

Thank you for your kind help

1. All lights dimming when AC kicks in even while driving and accelerating. - Isit all the time and noticeable?

2. Rubber smell in the cabin - They need to rectified 1 by 1. Might suggest u to send to them and recheck.

3. Brakes intermittently not working. Pedal becomes hard but car not slowing down. - Its very hard for them to check with intermittent problem. How often the problem occurs??

I fixed mine at Penang SC. No point to argue with sc. Just write an email to clic and follow up from there is way more effective.

Yup bro, ur right.. no point arguing with Sc..seems that all of our rants fall on to deaf ears.. they just dont resolve a problem at that particular moment itself.. gona write an email to clic and see where it goes

1. All lights dimming when AC kicks in even while driving and accelerating. - Isit all the time and noticeable? - Yes and very clearly noticeable.

2. Rubber smell in the cabin - They need to rectified 1 by 1. Might suggest u to send to them and recheck. - I doubt they did anything to diagnose the issue. The rubber mat doesn't smell anything like the rubber smell. I'm gonna send it to another SC, this time without the rubber mat or any rubber stuff in the car. This is not the first time this SC gave me excuses instead of fixing the problem. My driver's seat still shakes. All they could say was the bolts and nuts are all tight. Typical "it's normal" diagnosis.

3. Brakes intermittently not working. Pedal becomes hard but car not slowing down. - Its very hard for them to check with intermittent problem. How often the problem occurs?? - This one I agree. Very rare but it has in more than one occasion almost resulted in an accident.

I understand that some of the issues faced are tough to diagnose,....I get it. But each time I send my car to the SC for complaints, all I get is excuses. Every Peugeot SC I've visited so far is the same.
