Probably opened and then selling for cheap. In this case have to just trust the seller, say e.g. a friend.

Efficacy 4/5

Gets the job done, 24g of protein in one 32g scoop

Isolates are generally okay, but could have been better if mixed with casein.

Taste 2.5/5

Bearable/neutral, does not taste bad at 1.5 scoop + 12 oz water. (chocolate)

Mixability 4/5

No issues with general mixability in a shaker cup, just don't expect it to be some superfine stuff

One of the best whey out there. The only downside is its price.
*
ON Whey is fine. downsides are price and taste. But quality protein nonetheless.

In your opinion what's cheaper/or same price but tastes better than this ON?

Taste is subjective. For example, I dislike sweet taste. So, I prefer dymatize cappucino rush. Price is okay, around RM150 for 5lbs.

There are only a few brands that I trust. Dymatize, Animal, ON, Grenade and few other brands not sold locally here.

Yeah I like good food, and can't bear the artificial flavoring taste of some of these products. By the way I thought I read some posts here that dymatize has stopped production?

Woah RM225 for 4 lbs versus RM210 for 5 lbs by ON.

Quite a hefty difference.

I'm not a fussy drinker, so anything chocolate is fine. But the one I had is not sold here, it's Chocolate Chocolate Chip.

darklight79 Thanks for the tip.

Basically, less additives, the better.

Any protein brand which is just protein?

Pure whey (not the brand) ? I doubt these supplement brands have just protein even though majority of its macros are protein, there might be a few. Pure concentrated whey tastes like ass, while pure isolate whey tastes like vomit. Plus their solubility isn't that great either, but price wise is slightly cheaper. You still get protein from them , no difference

i got a couple samples of biotechusa...dont seem to be many reviews of it even tho its been around for awhile.
but the taste is pretty smooth, almost like a light milk shake...probably cos of the artificial sweeteners in it.
later i'll try the cappucino flavor see how tongue.gif

Bro, that price is from Lelong.my?

Also picking between those 2, but if the price difference is so much, then will go for UN, since the Amino-acids almost the same, both low on non essential AA.
