QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Jun 15 2014, 01:12 PM) Whoa. What keyboard is that? Looks like a 70%-is custom. My kind of sizes! QUOTE(D.D.D @ Jun 15 2014, 05:46 PM) i goggled , red switch is much btr if for gaming purposely . the 1st page suggest cm storm /filco /ducky 3 brand , how about other brand ?? and any idea how about razer black widow??? corsair vengeance??? Different for different people. Linear switches definitely if you want for FPS, but MX Browns works for gaming too. Nothing really beats Topre though... Lubed and stickered 55g/62g Ergo clears come close... but you still get some hysteresis because of the MX switches design. Other brands... urgh... Normlly we prefer those that follow the standard layout (aka ANSI layout) because the keycaps are easy to replace. We want to replace the keycaps because they usually don't last as long as the switches (stock keycaps usually will shine after a few months). Non-standard sizes and you'll need modifier kits or Tsangan kits and it's ridiculously annoying to replace. The 2014 Razers also use Kailh-manufactured switches, which are notoriously low quality. |

QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Jun 15 2014, 11:16 PM) if the total is not that expensive (>rm20 per set), I want one set of 50g normal springs and another "68g - 72g" normal springs. Trying both of the spring weight spectrum.Would using a 50g springs on clears will make the spring cant return to normal position? This post has been edited by amirinz: Jun 15 2014, 11:27 PM |

Not sure about 50g, some ppl tested 45g the mx clear will stuck occasionally then wont bounce back when pressed.Would using a 50g springs on clears will make the spring cant return to normal position? |

If they're gold-plated and are 62g, then I'm interested.

QUOTE(faridr @ Jun 15 2014, 11:52 PM) mx green is more stiffer than black, black is around 80g.65 or 68g is feeling like slightly stiffer than mx blue. Here's the comparison made/tested by sprit for the gold-plated springs. QUOTE My 50g is a little bit lighter than MX Red *some ppl tested gold-plated is slightly stiffer than normal one at same spec (62g gold vs 62 normal)l, but i'm not sure if it is true.My 55g is slightly softer and lighter than MX Brown, MX Blue My 60g is similar to MX Blue, but has some more tightness, hopely My 62g is a little bit heavier than MX Blue My 65g is soft but quite heavier than MX Blue My 68g - 72g is similar to New MX Skyblue clicky, some Vintage Blacks My 75g - 80g is similar to most MX Blacks My 85g is similar to MX Clear, a little bit soft start, steeper pressure slope My 100g is similar to MX Grey Nonclick in MX Clear Keyboards. My 120g Super-heavy! I have only tested 65g gold is kinda similar to 67g normal. This post has been edited by hmwgbworld: Jun 16 2014, 12:03 AM |

For Win and menu key i'm not sure, cant help u test since i didnt bring back my ghpad. As long as when egenrate eep file doesn't show error then should be ok.
