Enquired about pcb printing in my campus. Can print for free, use uv etching. But holes need to drill ownself. Gonna give printing gh60 a try first.

yeah that's the catch la. but nevermind ma we prototype first. the guy in charge of all PCB printing stuff said he can provide small board for free. sure cannot fit 61 keys inside :/ so we would have to get the PCB.

Some updates on the Lyn Peh keyboard. Finally figured out how to easily view .dxf files in the office (hint, use google drive) where I do most of my stuff anyway.

In other news, we access to the phantom plates.

Still getting quotes from various suppliers to cut the first version of the plate.

Currently, the design of the keyboard will be a barebones model, with a very cyberpunk feel to the case. We'll have a bottom layer, a spacer layer (could be done with just PCB standoffs I discovered in element14), and the backplate.

The big issue right now is whether to make a funky layout or to recycle one that is already in current production. With the limited demand for full-sized keyboards (get a ghpad pls), we will be sticking with the maximum size of TKL/TK.

Would really appreciate your thoughts one the layout, because we'll need to get this one right before prototyping.

KBT usually no warping issue. But I agree that the font is ugly and... OEM...

For those who followed GH, I am sure you are aware of a Malaysian guy, also happened to our forumer ainuddin, designed his own custom aluminium mechanical keyboard.
Right now it is being assembled by me. Will reveal the whole within few days after assembly finished.
