Is there any where to buy a replacement PCB?

I think I've spoilt the usb connector and its beyond repair.

my mkb is rosewill rk-9000

If there are no replacements. Is there other options? I am sure that all the switches are working fine.

If the soldering is loose can be re-soldered or if the USB connector is broke, can be replaced.
Well, as for finding the parts in Malaysia, I'm not so familiar, maybe 0168257061 guru can help.

A good link to have a look at the "common" issue of RK-9000. sweat.gif

Could be a simple connector falling loose issue. Re-soldering shouldn't take more than 30 minutes of your time. PM me or @016 boss if you want to know more.

well, i've sent it for warranty claim, but they told me they cant repair it. (Its my fault for spoiling it tho...)
or simply they dont wan to entertain it since the warranty is void...

btw i haven get back my mkb, i will take a photo of the damaged part after i get i back.

thanks for the replies thumbup.gif

this is the usb connector part of my rk-9000. The bottom side is unsoldered. I am typing this post my rk-9000.

The problem with it is everytime i moved the cable even abit. The connection will be lost. Should i just solder it back and will it fix the problem completely?

because i've actually sent it back to the supplier to get it fixed... and they told me that it cant be repaired...

I juz went and collect it back to try and do some modding to "revive" it. When i plugged the usb cable, it worked completely find, except the part where it disconnects if i moved the cable...

Such bad after sales service...

what's your problem?

The usb connector on the mkb always disconnects by itself...

Its usable, for now... but it the connection will lost once the wire is slightly moved...

Common rk-9000 issue.

In this thread, we always heard about 2 infamous keyboards with their issue.

1. Corsair K70
- infamous with very high LED failure

2. Rosewill rk-9000
- infamous with loose USB connector

If the usb wire wear off from solder pad, re-solder it to fix.
Another option is use wire tape to hold them tight enough temporary.

thanks for the info bro
