QUOTE(faridr @ Jun 15 2014, 07:12 PM) Red for gaming is a hype, all switch will work for gaming. Its down to your preferences. Have to test at shop QUOTE(dadudeneverabides @ Jun 16 2014, 10:56 PM) Right now I'm finding supplier willing is willing to make the plates for us. So far, I'm sending them the ergodox litster case as the test and see how much they wanna quote for that. If they're not too expensive, we can start thinking about making our own MKBs! what's the good news bro? phantom okay? |

QUOTE(capablanca @ Jun 18 2014, 11:53 PM) I'm planning to buy a keyboard mainly for typing purpose. what about IBM SSK?I type a lot but I don't game. I used to play with the IBM keyboard when I was young and missed that feeling. So, I planned to buy from Unicomp, but the shipping is almost as expensive as the keyboard itself. Anyone has any idea where else I can get the keyboard, or just to minimize the shipping. Or else, any other keyboard that can give off the same feeling? I'm not sure if switches and spring will give off the same feel. |

QUOTE(faridr @ Jun 19 2014, 06:11 PM) zennasyndroxx I remember that you ask about cnc milling, try asking Mr Ng Kah Weng 019-3318728, because there's limitation and few changes need to be done if you want cnc milling. Better if you speak directly with him incase you have more question. He's friendly pcb also don't have yet huhu. still waiting for TKL news from dadudeneverabides Here is the file I send him Edit: just mention my name, farid, so that he'll know what it is about |

QUOTE(Lotus1109 @ Jun 23 2014, 06:34 PM) setapak campus as well eh. come meet up lo :3but I heard from my ME friends saying that printing pcb need to prepare all materials yourself even though the service is foc ... yeah that's the catch la. but nevermind ma we prototype first. the guy in charge of all PCB printing stuff said he can provide small board for free. sure cannot fit 61 keys inside :/ so we would have to get the PCB. |

QUOTE(faridr @ Jun 23 2014, 06:26 PM) Not possible with gh60 if you want to put teensy on pcb unless removed 2 1u key as it is not designed for smd soldering AFAIKĀ i think the atmega can solder this way since we're going to try gh60 first. imitate giler giler. Atmega32u is cheap, but but but tak faham the pin spec sheet. I think got around 24 usable pin. dadudeneverabides have any experience with atmega32u4 chip? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Also, if there's a way to add in PWM control for your teensy keyboard then i think we can make breathing light or whatnot. the problem is adding into the existing code and makefile. I've yet to go through the codes. when my switch comes, money comes (so I can get teensy from dadudeneverabides) then i'll try out a few stuff. was thinking, what if we use teensy 3.1? there's a lot of onboard memory for us to do stuffs with, in which we would have to crack our heads. QUOTE(Lotus1109 @ Jun 23 2014, 06:43 PM) I am studying AS actually wednesday good? I know nothing at all about the pcb making but I would like to learn about doing it bila meet up? i know nothing also. we're all learning.
