QUOTE(rthm93 @ Jun 19 2014, 09:30 PM) because i've actually sent it back to the supplier to get it fixed... and they told me that it cant be repaired... hahaha.I juz went and collect it back to try and do some modding to "revive" it. When i plugged the usb cable, it worked completely find, except the part where it disconnects if i moved the cable... Such bad after sales service... ask our fellow distributor see this please. last time i complain about the solder pad dropping issues when repairing the kbd for others. they (distributor) say why fix yourself when you actually can send to warranty, warranty mah ass. wait and get nothing in the end, still need to out source from people who know how to fix. |

QUOTE(ik3da @ Jun 19 2014, 03:35 PM) Hmm, my team recently moved to a new office spot and thus 'new' machines + keyboards. Got stuck with this crappy keyboard (can't really change since most spare keyboards they have are French layout) where it annoys me to the point that I am considering of bringing my Ducky (brown) to work... I bring my Filco TKL to work daily using a hand carry laptop bag. With complete padding Any recommendation for an easy to carry around mech-keyboard for work? Felt cumbersome plugging it in and out daily but the comfort of using a mech outweighs the trouble. One day I forgot to bring my mech to work... and one day is all it takes to remind me how much I need my mech everyday. |

Guys I think I finally contributed to mkb thread by persuading 2 of my friends to buy mkb !!
But no matter how I explain and say, they still want those krappi dong dong Corsair K70 or Razer Deathstalker/Blackwidow I told them Filco TKL made one of the best keyboards in the world. Their build quality is superb and you can modify it to your personal preference. |

QUOTE(faridr @ Jun 19 2014, 06:11 PM) zennasyndroxx I remember that you ask about cnc milling, try asking Mr Ng Kah Weng 019-3318728, because there's limitation and few changes need to be done if you want cnc milling. Better if you speak directly with him incase you have more question. He's friendly pcb also don't have yet huhu. still waiting for TKL news from dadudeneverabides Here is the file I send him Edit: just mention my name, farid, so that he'll know what it is about |

QUOTE(ntw @ Jun 19 2014, 10:35 PM) oh yeah but have to build up my patience and salesman skillz first. among my coworkers, 90% of never used a keyboard costing more than RM 100 10% identifies Razer as high end keyboard hard to justify the cost in this situation not to mention having to explain switches, keycaps.. Priced also okay, shipping is expensive because of the weight. Kinda sad that the guy who owned it previously changed the screws to nuts, and now Im still trying to find the nut size to open it up. Other than that, it works perfectly. All keycaps are fine, springs feels nice, and when it arrived, was packaged nicely. Just want to find the nut size so I can mod it.I went and saw some Model-M/ Unicomp on taobao. Any concerns trying to get it from there? |
