Hi Bro,

Hi Guys,

Maintenance has been completed approx 130am, please switch off your ONU & Router for 5 mins, and turn it on again.

Perform a speedtest again.

Thanks.

Hi Guys,

Sorry to drop this here but i couldnt find another 'best option' thread to ask.. I was thinking about moving in @ Mercu Summer Suites, Jalan Cendana, KL, 50250 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. however, i recently subscribed to TIME broadband. I asked the owner/agent, but he has no clue if they are going to cover it. I also checked the TIME coverage, but no mention there too. Last thing i wanna do is pay the cancellation penalty sad.gif(( !! Any sort of assistance/help would be very appreciated.

Cheers,
JJ.

Hi Bro JJ,

Though it's yet covered, do check out my pm for more details.

Could you please elaborate what type of cancellation penalty did you mean ?

Feel free to call me too if you required further details.

Thanks.

Hi All.

i just got installed the 50Mpbs package but i would like to replace the default router with my tp-link ac1750, i've searched around but no luck so far, does anybody know how to configure it?

any help is greatly appreciated
*
Hi Bro,

Very simple, login to your router, go to QuickSetup, select PPPOE/Russian PPPOE, put in the given TIME Username & Password (given to you by our Installer during Installation), select also Dynamic IP if you are prompted to choose between Dynamic/Static IP.
After this you are done with WAN connection, Then click next to proceed with the rest of Wireless setup.

Feel free to refer to your pm to download more details guide.

Please explain to me how this works.

Say I decide to take the 10Mbps package for RM129 and pay TIME. Then 6 months later want to migrate to Astro IPTV, is my broadband package still RM129, or do I pay the Astro IPTV price of RM148?

Do I get a new contract period of 2 years with Astro, stop paying TIME and start paying them instead? If so, what happens to my 2 year contract with TIME?

Do I get new equipment and setup, or do you just plug the Astro Byond PVR box into the ONU/ONT with no real service disruption?
*
Hi Bro,

Once you have migrated over to Astro IPTV, you wil have to follow Astro Broadband pricing, in your case, it will be RM148 for 10Mbps, subject to a new 24-months contract.
Stop paying to TIME and pay to Astro instead.
No more penalty with TIME as you aready migrated to Astro.

Installer will add in Astro STB & reconfigure your settings.

Let me know if you require further assistance.

Thanks.

No I'm not, I'm using an ASUS RT-N14UHP. It gave me about a 10% increase in speed when I was using it for Unifi account, looks like it does help the speed here too smile.gif

Hi Bro,

Definitely it helps, and a lot better smile.gif
