Hi, have anyone experienced "boost" speed problem?

First, when I tried to use the boost feature, I found that I was already active.  But in fact, I hadn't choose from the menu on how many boosting hours I want to use.  It looked like the boost menu was frozen.

1 day later, after reporting to Time Broadband customer service, the boost menu problem was fixed.  So I chose 1 hour speed boosting for testing.  The speed testing menu from Time Broadband showed that I am still under normal package speed which was 8Mbps.

So again I reported to Time Broadband and the problem still continued.  Only just now I found out that the Boost menu is frozen again.  Pls advise.  Thanks!

Hi to both of you.
Is there anyway I can register online? thru scanning documents.
There is no unifi, streamyx, maxis on Setiawalk residence right, your whatever rebate deal is pointless...

Hi I'm interested in the 1 month free trial with TIME. I am currently subscribed to TM but the problem I have is with the upload speeds, it's not even 1 mbps when I'm subscribed to the 10mb package. If I take the 1 month trial do I have to subscribe after that or is it optional? Also when you mentioned the 500rm rebate is it to cancel the contract with TM? Please help me with this smile.gif
*
Hi Bro,

The 1 Month FREE Trial is for you to try out the service, yu can decide whether to continue or not.

The RM500 Rebate is to cover the penalty by TM or Maxis when you cancel their service prematurely. The Rebate will be reflected into your monthly bill until the RM500 finished.

Do check out my pm for more details.

Thanks.

I believe it's under Applications -> DNS Service -> (forgot what the menu is called... something like manual DNS). Took me awhile to find it too. You'll see space to enter two IPv4 DNS and two IPv6 DNS. Just enter 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 on the two IPv4 DNS space.
*
Hi Bro,

It's called DNS > Application-DNS Service-DNS.

Thanks.

I feel sad with TIME Fibre Business, last time to upgrade from dynamic IP to fix IP, only 1 time charges (I think is RM500), now they want to charge RM200 per month... duh.... And 2 years contract mean almost 9 times more expensive....
*
Hi Bro,

Yes you are right, due to scarcity of IPv4.

Stay tuned for more new arrangements. My team will be updating .

Thanks.

The difficulty of this is that the short downtime is not long enough for me to perform a tracert on that time, but enough for some of my software and VPN to disconnected from the host.... And it do have a good ping response time when not Request Time Out.... You wouldn't feel it for normal browsering, but for connection sensitive application, the result is frequent disconnection.
*
Hi Bro,

Let me help you to nail down to the problem, mind text/pm/call me?

We do face this problem sometimes reported by some sensitive application or monitoring software during our daily Installation.

Thanks.

Sorry that I don't use whatapps, I know it look weird, and I purposely buy a lousy phone for company number so that they can't force me to use whatapps,  whistling.gif . With out whatapps already get tons of text message of loan, house advertisement everyday....
*
No worries Bro, understand, just give me a ring on your normal phone will do.

Thanks.

Hi, very interested in 50Mbps home package, I know my condo is within the coverage.

The problem is I am going to move house within a year, may be probably the same condo but different floor only.

So what should I do, if I have relocated? Needs extra charge for installation after I have moved house or something like this?

How long this current promotion will last?

Thanks

Anyone from Penang Bayan Lepas seeing similar issue? and its getting more and more frequent especially at night.

10Mbps user - Router Asus AC68u - LAN connection - Activated boost, but download speed is less than 120KB/s (as screenshot).
*
Hi Foong,

Please try perform a LAN connection speedtest to several local servers first, we need to get rid of this possibility before we drill down to your downloading issue.

Send me the screenshots. Also pm me your download servers details, I'll try from my end here.

Thanks.

Hi Bro,

Definitely yes, you are able to use your own Router with WAN function.

Let me know, will guide you how to set it up.

Thanks.
