Anyone else in Pg facing slow download speed from NL-based servers or any servers from EU for that matter?

The past 2 days my download speed has been stuck at 200-300KB/s when I download from my own NL-based VPS. Tried downloading with other EU servers and the speed seems to be capped to around that speed too (though it goes to around 700KB/s around 5-6am) Download speed in USA-based servers or other parts of the world can reach the max speed 1.2MB/s.

Is there some kind of fault in the international line that I'm unaware of because this happened to me for a few days some months ago and it was resolved after a few days.

hi, can any time users help me out. i would like to check if TIME really has 50mbps across all websites or just selectively few like youtube etc.

I used to play in cyber cafe with Time fiber, with each pc capped at 20 mbps each (if surfing youtube, steam download it will reach 2MB/s.

however, to many sites the download speed is very underwhelming, such as

the speed was around 50kb/s when i was downloading, taking few minutes to complete 1.5MB file from flyvpn.

Can any of you test if you are downloading flyvpn file at 50mbps or also very slow speed

I have tested on both unifi and streamyx and they have max speed for the site flyvpn.

there are many sites as well and while i know it very much depends on the server location, but i dont want to be using vpn most of the time in order to get full speed.

After 4 days, download speed from NL or EU based servers is a bit faster than before (~5-600KB/s) but still not near the maximum 1.2MB/s.

Something is wrong with the traffic route from TIME to EU-based servers because right now I'm putting a proxy IP from S'pore and the speed is back to normal.

Any recommendation on which Asus router that support Time Fibre 100mpbs? if there is how do I go about the configuration. I've asked around some IT stores, they seems to have no knowledge on TIME connection.

Something's up again guys? I just got back to KL last week and since then my download speed is crippled. It won't go over 200 kBps, which is very annoying since I'm under the 100Mbps package.

For streamyx installation there's a site where user can check installation status.

Is there such site where I can do so for Time Fiber installation?

If you take TIME as your broadband provider as part of your Astro IPTV subscription, are you eligible for the 50mbps Boost for 30 hours every month?

Also, is the bandwidth taken up by the Astro service separate from your broadband allocation - i.e. if I opt for the 10mbps service, I will be getting 10mbps for my internet based use?

Then is it possible to subscribe for Time broadband first, hen later add-on astro IPTV? Instead of applying as a bundle?

And yes, I've rebooted my hardware, speed test done on both Mac and Windows machines, tried both Time DNS and Google DNS.

I'm calling technical support but hold time is more than 10 minutes now.

Even a speed test on Time's support website tells me I'm not getting my subscribed speed (see attached).
EDIT: So after waiting 20 minutes to speak to technical support all the guy told me was to send the screenshots to customerservice@time.com.my.  A 20-minute wait for a 1-minute talk on the phone that did not help at all.

Max Boost is 40Mbps instead of 50Mpbs? but still 30 hours worth every month? Activation can be done nd usage monitored using TIME Self Care online?
Different VLAN, but still on the same bandwidth allocation? So, for example, if I subscribe to the 10Mbps service, I'll only get a maximum of 9Mbps, and maybe less if the Astro traffic takes up more when watching HD channels?

Or do I get 10Mbps, regardless... with bandwidth for the Astro service allocated from somewhere else?

Is last night issue on slowdown still being addressed? I was having normal speeds again this morning (even to my earlier NL-server problem) but now the slow speed begins again.

Woah! I didn't realize that the slow speed problem is actually affecting lots of people. If so, then my assumption of connection problem from TIME's side should be valid. I haven't tried it today, but let's see what I'll have tonight.

so i just came back to sunway after 2 month.
and twitch buffer issue persist.
The unifi i use in kota kinabalu dont even buffer..
same goes with my digi dataplan..
And yes, transcoding set to low it buffers..
