QUOTE(Ree73 @ Apr 3 2015, 08:15 AM) Too bad, they were referring to WIRELESS broadband only Though honestly, if we really want to compare within Malaysia, TIME's fibre package is the best with no competition, especially the feature to boost for 30 hours free @ 50Mbps. Well. I think most of Telco will reduce it... If compare with regional rate... we are far more expensive....

Unique reasons when we compare between Singapore and Malaysia in so many ways. This post has been edited by leecwai: Apr 3 2015, 08:33 AM |

Hi Bros,What I was trying to say is in SIN and other countries, such as Thailand, they are not allowed to play the game called Monopoly. Next time we pay a visit (no need SG, just Thailand will do), we can see how they managed their fiber internet networks & we'll be amazed. Cheers |

QUOTE(Ree73 @ Apr 2 2015, 01:28 PM) Upload, depends if you need 8 or 15mbps upload I beg to differ, based on our daily monitoring, I'd take +-10%.Don't forget time will be apply +-20% speed on its line, means you might get around 6.4mbps or 12mbps... Hey, I do so much tech sharing on time. I don't mind if time pay me on this How I wish we both get paid...lolxx. |

Can anyone tell me? I noticed the TIME broadband+ASTRO package IPTV has improved recently (dunno since when). 2 years ago it was not very competitive compared to MAXIS, as it offers lower speed at same price with MAXIS and also lesser channels (MAXIS has some HD exclusives).
I noticed MAXIS still has some ASTRO exclusive channels. TIME don't have any exclusives? They can match MAXIS speed now for about same price, but if they don't have the exclusive, then again not very attractive compared to MAXIS. And the 50Mbps boost normal TIME user has has been downgraded to 20-30Mbps!!! (For the ASTRO IPTV package subscriber) This post has been edited by Matrix: Apr 3 2015, 04:02 PM |

I'm just waiting for the Astro IPTV contract to be over so I can get rid of the piece of crap service and subscribe to Netflix.
Will definitely still maintain TIME cause I think by far it's the better ISP compared to TM or Maxis. |
