manage to connect to my own AC router....

Last speed test via time speed test:

DL: 14.80+ it drop to 13.6+
UL: 15.10+ and stay here

Anyone can share their 8Mbit/10Mbit/15Mbit/20Mbit speed and 50Mbits boost speed?

Wonder can we get solid DL speed? Or only i having the not consistence DL speed and boost speed?

I am on tech discussion and no one answering me on that tongue.gif

Time should give their user better router la...

For 100Mbps package should at least give 1750 ac router
and for normal package should at least give 1200 ac router

you all can check the throughput on every wireless router speed:

Sales team and HW/SW technical support team should give feedback. biggrin.gif

For sure customer will ask, why I cant get 50mbps? 100mbps?

Customer support also lazy/hard to answer: Please change to WIRE, or pls change router or this is due to fair policy usage tongue.gif

Hi Bro,

No worries, for your FTTH configuration is pretty straight forward, login to your Asus Router with the Default 192.168.1.1, Username/Password : admin) , follow the QIS (Quick Internet Setup) guide, put in the provided PPPOE settings (Username : xxxxxx@timebb & Password: xxxxxxx), and you are up to go.

Feel free to buzz me should you require further assistance.

Thanks.

Latest finding:

VPN:
Try to connect to company VPN, connected to several geo location VPN... It is working, I think the 1st day upon account activation not stable and thus will have some glitch on 1st day???

Tried >10 China Stream TV apps (android TV box):
80% of the china site watchable with finest setting using default time DNS. But some cannot watch such as PPTV. Will try out google DNS later and hope to get 100% coverage. Online streaming is much better than Streamyx

Using own AC router (via wireless):
Default router can get to 40-43Mbps when boost (As some benchmark review stated that this router can go max on 48mbps). Using my AC router push this limit up to 50mbps ( My router support up to >200 mbps based on some review benchmark).

Yeapch01, can you send me setup manual too? I want to refer IPV6 setting smile.gif and to check out any setting that I might miss out?

In summary, 8Mb time line can get us at least 2 HD streaming and 15Mb can get us at least 4 HD streaming... smile.gif

Hi Bro,

For default E1200 Router, yes you are right, wireless is 'bottled-necked' at 3x--4xMbps, it does also depend on the devices that we use to connect to this Router.

IPV6 Settings will be available soon, stay tune. For FTTH config, very simple, just put in your Time provided PPPOE Login credentials & you are ready to go.

8Mbps with 2 1080p FullHD streaming is fine, but the 3rd one will be lagging.
I'd take 15Mbps for 3 1080p FullHD Streaming...

Cheers smile.gif
