manage to connect to my own AC router....

Last speed test via time speed test:

DL: 14.80+ it drop to 13.6+
UL: 15.10+ and stay here

Anyone can share their 8Mbit/10Mbit/15Mbit/20Mbit speed and 50Mbits boost speed?

Wonder can we get solid DL speed? Or only i having the not consistence DL speed and boost speed?

I think based on usage... if you have 3 ppl streaming on HD movie, go for 15Mbps if you have 2 below to stream for HD, go to 8mbps...

If you are heavy downloader, I think 30 hours boost should be sufficient for both these package. 30 hours boost @ 6MBytes will give you a total of 648GByte in a month! ( you might need to add 1T HDD space every month for this tongue.gif)

basically i need it for my youtube channel, i am thinking broadcast livestreams , i do download but no need that much

Dear Sister
For 8mbps =  RM  129 + RM 7.74(GST) = RM 136.74

    15 Mbos = RM 179 +  RM10.74(GST) = RM 189.74
Feel free to let me know if further clarification needed.
Thanks

Generally happy Time user here too.

On my 100Mbps plan, I can get an average of 90 or so Mbps with multiple runs of Speedtest.net. Only if connected via cable to my Asus RT-N56U router.
Time Fibre user since Dec 2013. No router issues here because I have been using my own Asus router all this time.

The Time-provided modem is still there. I believe this Huawei modem thing is called the ONU.

I have 2 Time-provided routers with me, a Linksys E1200 received in 2013 when I first signed up for Time, and a Linksys X3500 received when I upgraded to the 100Mb plan. I prefer to use my own Asus RT-56U router, though.

In short, my answer to you is 2 hardware smile.gif

i see thanks for answering then i think i will get that too

The RT-N56U is an old model. Perhaps you can consider a newer model like the AC56U or AC66U or AC68U.  nod.gif

another optional choice...

Mi router!!! AC1167, price range RM130++ I think

For client site, I still prefer the Asus PCE AC68, like the external antenna RM350++. Optional should be USB3 dongle, but max AC1200 speed only RM80++.
*
u mean AC68U? the most expensive one...

actually the broadband i alone using and rarely use wifi....

guess i will lock on to this ASUS RT-AC56U WIFI 1200AC ROUTER, within my affordable budget cry.gif cry.gif
