Didnt have the opportunity to try with the same scenario.

Another thing I tried is I played maplesea and I always lag at 1 place. I don't think it is the graphics because that game doesnt take much graphics and CPU is only at 30%.

I tried playing it at my friend's place using 10mbps Unifi and there is no lag. Can help?
*
Hi Bro,

Always lag at same place ? Try to perform a Boost up to 10Mbps by entering into selfcare.time.com.my

See if it helps.

Cheers smile.gif

Hi yeapch01/jjj2,

I currently have 10MB Time Fibre line attached to Astro IPTV. Can I get a second 100MB line? If possible, does it require additional fibre wiring?
*
Hi Bro,

Yes you can request to have 2nd 100Mbps line.

By following the requirement of TIME, yes it requires 2nd fibre cable to be pulled in.

Thanks.

How did you guys configure Asus rt-56u with Time? for me it doesn't connect to the modem (password and username are correct). Default Time modem is working, but once I switch cables to Asus, it just doesn't connect to the internet.
*
Hi Bro,

Please make sure you are connecting your Asus RT-N56U Router WAN Port to Huawei ONU's LAN 1 port.

Login to your Asus Router via the default 192.168.1.1. go to Internet Connection Setup, under WAN type, choose PPPOE, type in your given TIME Username & password (Eg. xxxxxx@timebb)

Click Apply settings.

Download the Full Manual here :
Asus RT-N56U Manual

Buzz me if you need more help.

Thanks.

Hi bro,

Did everything as you said (reseted router couple of times too). It just doesn't connect to the internet (password and username are correct).

I am just curious. Last time I have had the same problem with Unifi and Router. Fixed it by going to IPTV settings in Router and choosing Unifi from preset providers list. This time there is no TIME option, so I leave it as Default (tried all the options, didn't work).

Maybe you will have more ideas?

P.S. Once i connect TIME's default router with exactly same settings, everything is working fine.

P.P.S. Ausus Router is not spoiled, I've used it last week with Unifi internet for more thank 2 years.

Thanks for your help!
*
Hi Bro,

Your Router is not spoiled.

Try not to choose the preset profiles, choose Manual/Others instead and you are up to go.

Thanks.

Hi bro,

Solved. Restarted router, restarted computer. I guess what help is that I've reset router with unplugged ethernet cable.

Thanks for your help!

Thank you bro.
I currently can help but not everything.
I only cannot help them if they ask when this building is going to ready.
I can help for Modem Configuration and Under Coverage only.
I check coverage area from TIME Dotcom website.
I cannot help customers if they get problems on slow internet.
*
Thanks Bro smile.gif

We'll cover rest of the things, cheers smile.gif

Quick question: for MDU/condo, does TIME provides fibre to each unit? or simply rely on same method as other ISPs (i.e. via existing copper infra of the condo)?
*
HI Bro,

TIME provides Full Fibre to each unit, NOT via existing copper.

Thanks.

I always face buffering issues watching videos from Twitch.tv at night, even from medium/low quality. Seems like this problem has been around for several months...

Hi Bro,

Yes agree, I faced this once a while since 1-2 years ago... we gotta solve it case by case...as network condition changes every second, your most recent test results are always important to us.

Please do check your PM for particulars that we need, if you have file the complaints previously, please send me the Case ID to follow up.

Thanks.

May i konw what is the TIME DOT COM DNS server IP address? Currently i am using google public DNS 8.8.8.8 to resolve...
*
HI Bro,

I'm sorry I cant provide you that with 2 reasons, due to policy issue & secondly couple of them keep on changing.

But it's fairly simply to find out, once you are connected to Internet, go to your Router Admin Interface, under Status section, you can get that info tongue.gif

Anyway, feel free to pm me if you require more info.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I just wanna be sure before I subscribe. It's very common for ISPs to use copper for MDUs even though it's supposed to be "Fibre To The Home". It's understandable from business perspective for scalability. smile.gif
*
Thanks Bro, agree...better confirm before making any subscription.

Feel free to check out your pm for more details.

Thanks.
