There is no real secret. 1) Make sure you are in a room that is fanless, fan blows up too much dust. 2) Make sure the room is well lighted better still work with a table lamp, can spot dust better. 3) Start from area which need precise alignment eg. home button. Take your time and BTW glass SP are so much easier to apply. Good luck!

Air bubbles usually means you have dust trapped inside. Again work with sufficient lights.

Use salo tape or any tape to hold ur sp then dab wif salo tape or sum good quality tape can remove slowly, but during my starting of applying sp, I actually increase more buble or dust than decrease it. But nowadays, when I got time, most screen I can clean up when I got the mood. Actually I saw sum video in youtube, got one idea, not sure can work or not, find a big box, can put ur phone n sp all in side, make it like a partition, then spray mist inside it b4 u bring all the things inside, mist help to reduce dust n stuff. Then u can start your work inside the box, "if" it's dust free. Easier than purposely make toilet steamy or misty.

If you still haven't sorted it out, please try below.

MIUI had default recovery, go to recover mode
Updater > "menu" button > reboot to recovery mode
then choose wipe all data, once done
copy the ROM and paste it to your phone,
then try from there...

from 4.4 to 4.3, you need full wipe
try hold Power + Volume up key (10sec)
it will give you the option, wipe all data and try from there.

Hmmm, like that I no clue d, I being flashing from Stable ROM to Dev ROM then back to Stable ROM then go to Dev ROM again when the 1st day i got my phone..

(found stable rom nothing to play, go to DEV rom.... then found a lot bug where I still new yet, didn't go read from xda or miui forum, then flash back to Stable rom using full wipe (without any 3rd party apps))

after few hour later, feel tak puas hati.... flash to DEV rom again which is now what i am using...

out of all these just 1 word, be patience and re-do again to check/see what step is missed.
