I have 2 cable. I check the current. One is 1.5mA. One is 1A. Both used to charge iPad 2.

Actually, I used BatteryCurrentWidget and found that stock Mi3 charger only going at 0.8A and Note2 charger only at 1.2A, while Xiaomi PB also at 1.2A

err i think what u trying to say is "supply and demand",that's business marketing 101, but in this case they are throwing smoke screen , there is no demand, and they has tones supply,

their focus are not selling the actual product but actually selling u the idea of "demand", and u need it badly even u don't,

that, my friend is their most successful sales tactic and u all brought it, the idea is like a virus, its spread even u like it or not... we all seen it in inception, its also marketing 101 aka snake oil sales tactic...

I think we all need Mi3 phone and PB. That's why we are buying. I'm not sure why you think we don't need PB.

My whatsapp group of 50 friends, at least 10 units were bought in total.
Considering the internet penetration in malaysia, 5000 units in 1minute definitely possible.

I think it is more like the demand is wayy higher than they can produce.

they are in the business of earning profit, who dont want to sell more? It is just that their factory is sooo tiny that they couldnt output enough phones to sell, they dont want to outsource to 3rd party either to ruin their QC.

I dont think they are keeping huge bunch of stock in inventory waiting to be release bit by bit.
