Hi, I've been reading good reviews on ACER's T232HL.

Anyone with hands-on experience on this touchscreen monitor? How would it fare against Dell's P2314T? Depending on where you buy from the price seems to be comparable.

ACER 23" T232HL - RM RM1,149.00 (hikari85)
Dell P2314T 23" - RM 1,229.00 (Techview)

Hi guys, nd some recomendation for monitor

Initially wanted to buy xl2720z but after researching seems like it does not suit me as I'm not into fps gaming

I prefer those like witcher 3, dragon age, middle earth, final fantasy

I'm planning to use the monitor for gaming(non fps) and hd movies

Any recommendation?
Budget, initially is around 1.8k+/- as it was for the xl2702z.
no specific brand as long as it's reliable

Thanks in advance

You may check out BenQ BL2710PT IPS panel 2K resolutions. New stocks arrival low yat this week. I just saw it from there, pretty cool.

Hi.

can i get some monitor recommendations?
using asus nvidia gtx 750 ti, buying a monitor for gaming (non-FPS, dota2, 3d mmo) and movies (glossy is better?)

not looking for a specific brand.
easy to obtain and claim warranty.

23". but, if topping up a little can get me something bigger/better/worth the value, might as well go for it.
not so sure about the resolution I need/want.
read about g-sync, not sure too if i need that for the kind of games i play, but hey, "if topping up a little can get me something bigger/better/worth the value, might as well go for it"

thanks in advance.

For gaming, check out BenQ or Asus.
Glossy panel will look great in color brightness but very bad in long hour viewing in terms of reflection. I would suggest you go for non glossy panel.

Hi. Currently I am planning to purchase a monitor for work and programming purpose. Will be facing the monitor for around 8 hours per day. Preferable to be not so hurting the eyes. My budget is around RM500-RM600. Any recommendations? Thank you.

Hello! Im planning to buy a monitor for my new build and narrowed my choices to the Samsung 27' curved monitor S27D590Cs and Dell S2715H. The Samsung is around Rm200 more expensive than the Dell. Is the Samsung worth it or should I spend it on a 1440p monitor? Thanks!

What you guys take on using TV screen as monitor? hmm.gif
Have a budget around 1.2k-1.3k want to get a good screen, good and accurate color since I do some graphic work - as long as general color is correct, don't have some weird blue/yellow tint that can't remove, then it will be fine.
Went to friend house saw him using 48" 1080p (pic model below) seems pretty damn sharp, no blurry interface or text at all which quite impress me. Altough generally low PPI but doesn't seems to have pixelated issue at view distance ~5 feet. Although I haven't test it extensively in term of color accuracy, input lag, etc.

Planning to get that 40" if possible but I want to hear anyone if have any idea / advice over this matter. I do play games so yea a big screen would be nice.
At that budget can only get a 27" pc monitor which isn't exactly a big step from 23"... 1080p resolution isn't really an issue, I will be using AMD VSR anyway.

for colour accuracy, pick monitors to TV

generally TV presets are usually high contrast, high saturation and dynamic bla bla which isnt accurate at all

for entertainment, yes. TV reign supreme

Hi bro.
I just purchase the monitor same as your ( few days ago) and I quite happy with the performance. My opinion is maybe you received a defect product. You may try to ask a replacement from the HP itself (or maybe you already arrange the replacement since your post is one month ago tongue.gif )

They refused a replacement though and claim it works perfectly fine, that's the problem. wink.gif
Glow isn't really the biggest problem I have with my unit, I can tolerate that - but instead, it's the warm tone with grey color that gets my nerve cracking...

Curiosity, if you have time, can you check out this picture: http://i.imgur.com/l3pkMjx.jpg
It's a greyscale pic, no color. Do you see true accurate grey or kinda yellowish? hmm.gif

Ohh you went back to your shop. You actually can online chat with the hp in their support website to arrange exchange. I dont know whether hp will send a replacement or you need to send to their sc. But for my dell monitor, they arrange a courior and bring together with their replacement monitor😁.

You should ask for replacement, hehehe

hmm.gif Ok got my TV today, Samsung UA40H5008.
At first it doesn't looks as good, color and sharpness kinda off, well I think it's ok... after all it's a damn TV...
But then i found a sort of secret settings, which we probably won't understood from it's name. It called "Edit Name"
Put it to "PC" and... WOW IT COMPLETELY BLOW MY MIND AWAY! shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif It is almost as good as a standard monitor... somewhere 90%...

Hi I'm planning to get a monitor u2414h rm950 or u2515h rm1480. Before gst prices.

I am leaning towards u2414h but I've heard ppl complaining about the monitor colours over here.

I would have gone for the ultrasharps if they were not 16:10..

As for 2515h, I really like it but I'm too afraid to get it as it could be too huge for computer gaming. Even the current 23 inch I'm using quite huge also

My question is.. Would I regret if I get the u2414h? Is it a decent monitor?
