Hm. No VESA. And horrible stands. I think I'll stick with the U2414H. Lol

U24's only issue is the backlit bleeding, if youre lucky you shouldnt get this issue

other than that, its a solid 9/10, great monitor

hi,
does anyone know if I can connect the WII U on a Dell U2414H?
is it compatible and will the display shows as HDTV?
and finally, is it recommended to use a monitor over TV as the display?

Hi Sifus, I'm looking for a monitor to do my graphic job. However I only have a budget of RM900. What could i get? Mainly for photoshop, 3DS Max jobs. Some gaming as well such as FPS games and racing.

Budget : RM900

1. MPC-HC Nightly (installer, x86, updated every 4 days)
2. LAV filters
3. madVR
4. XySubFilter
5. ReClock
I had installed a while ago. The updating process is also quite simple really. Also it's not like you have to do it every so often. I'd only do it maybe once a year ?
Oh by the way, i also disable the internal filters in mpc, because i'm using the external package from lav filters.
*
more or less similar to mine, i got the KCP pack though, AIO for easier installation purposes

you need to do that? i thought just change filter to lav and itll be fine?

Hi all,

I am thinking of getting a replacement for my 1680*1050 samsung monitor some time soon. Probably would like to upgrade to 1920*1200. Maintaining 16:10 ratio is a must for me.

So far, I see my options are fairly limited:

1. Dell Ultra sharp 2412
or
2. Asus PA248Q 24

Which of the two is better value for money, in your opinion?

Are there any other options available? Will there be refresh models in the near future?

Asus seems to be pricey at RM1.4K and doesn't seem to be many sellers around. Where to buy this monitor? And the warranty for it? hmm.gif

Did you try the scaling options? Set it to 150% or bigger. How does it look like? smile.gif

I'm also tempted with 4k to be honest but probably might just settle for a good 27" AH-IPS 1440/1600p monitor smile.gif

Actually the gaming part is true haha. How's your 4k monitor running at 1080p? Does it look as sharp as 1080p content on a 1080p monitor?
