That's the odd part, I've seen tons of Maxis fibre user complaining about terrible ping but almost nothing on unifi which leads me to think unifi doesn't have this issue at all.

anyone here choose the optional installation for their unifi？May i know how much is the total charges for that as i known the charges is quite expensive.

Upgraded to 10Mbps, received the promo of RM 20 discount.

I got the email confirmation that it is upgraded... Download speed still 5Mbps but upload speed is 10Mbps.

do you turn off modem and router for few min thn turn on back?

I was not at home for the whole weekend and just reached home.
So, my router was freshly turned on... I did restart few times and still the same results.
Called the helpdesk, she helped me to restart my port and still the same.
Opened a case for me already... Let's see...

Changed from my day#1 DNS from Google DNS to OpenDNS.
Same results, ie Speedtest shows "great" DL/UL but actual download is < 30kb/sec ?

Any ideas why ? What else do I need to check ?

Same here. Downloading from a host that is always giving me 1.2Mb/s now only 10-30kb/s.

Hi, I got the call to upgrade with RM20 discount as well, still waiting for the upgrade...

wanted to check with you, after the upgrade, what is the download speed you have when you are downloading?? I got 500kbps only when I'm at 5MB package, does it means now at 10MB package I will only get 1MBps when downloading?

Packet loss is one of the significant problem leading to slow download speeds. Websites' elements like images and huge scripts load really slowly and dramatically increases the loading time by over 10 times.

I can't answer you yet because my line is still having issues but should be around 1.2MBps. It is around 10000/8.
My 5Mbps can get around 600kBps.

I used to get 6-7MBps when I was using LTE to download my stuff. This is already a huge compromise for me.

My max download speed is 1.25Mb/s using IDM, paired with AllDebrid.
