Wondering if theres any official statement about this That's the odd part, I've seen tons of Maxis fibre user complaining about terrible ping but almost nothing on unifi which leads me to think unifi doesn't have this issue at all. |

QUOTE(djhenry91 @ Dec 15 2014, 08:07 PM) I was not at home for the whole weekend and just reached home. So, my router was freshly turned on... I did restart few times and still the same results. Called the helpdesk, she helped me to restart my port and still the same. Opened a case for me already... Let's see... |

Hmmm...what's with my Unifi ?
Speedtest: ![]() But when I download, the speed is barely 30kb/sec for the past 2 days? Changed from my day#1 DNS from Google DNS to OpenDNS. Same results, ie Speedtest shows "great" DL/UL but actual download is < 30kb/sec ? Any ideas why ? What else do I need to check ? This post has been edited by l4nunm4l4y4: Dec 15 2014, 11:52 PM |

I've been experiencing bad packet losses to Singapore through some specific routes for the past few months, on and off. Has anyone else experienced this issue on Unifi as well?
It's particularly noticeable when any of the website is loading off of Cloudflare's CDN. Here's a quick conversation with @TMConnects on Twitter. https://twitter.com/josephting/status/544371280187650048 Here are some Pingplotter (MTR) results. This is Telin.sg, one of the ISP in Singapore. This is a Cloudflare CDN powered hostname. Packet loss is one of the significant problem leading to slow download speeds. Websites' elements like images and huge scripts load really slowly and dramatically increases the loading time by over 10 times. This post has been edited by josephting: Dec 16 2014, 03:34 PM |

I can't answer you yet because my line is still having issues but should be around 1.2MBps. It is around 10000/8.wanted to check with you, after the upgrade, what is the download speed you have when you are downloading?? I got 500kbps only when I'm at 5MB package, does it means now at 10MB package I will only get 1MBps when downloading? Thanks My 5Mbps can get around 600kBps. I used to get 6-7MBps when I was using LTE to download my stuff. This is already a huge compromise for me. |

Fruitie, sorry ah off topic a bit, can I pm you regarding a trade/sales, as i sight u have a trade enforcer tag? Tad bit serious imo. My 5Mbps can get around 600kBps. I used to get 6-7MBps when I was using LTE to download my stuff. This is already a huge compromise for me. If you're OK, reply me here or straight PM me and I'll tell you the story. |
