Hi all,

Currently still using the D-link router provided by TM for my unifi 10M. Due to the devices at home increase especially Wifi, planning to change it to slightly better router to support my current usage.

Requirement as below:-
1. Budget below RM200.
2. Connection must be stable between Internet and LAN. (doesn't need to always reboot the router.)
3. Strong Wifi signal enough for a 900sf house.(My router is not placing at center of my house, the distance from router to the end is around 10m.)

Currently looking for TP-Link TL-WR1043ND, is this router good? or any other router better than this that within my budget?

10m range only need so long antenna?
USB port is optional..got or not also doesn't matter..

You're confusing bit and byte..
Unifi package is 5mbit/s and your download speed is 500kbyte/s..
1 byte = 8 bit
5000kbit/8 = 625kbyte is your max speed..

You mean TL-WDR4300 is a shitty router?
If 4300 shitty, TL-WDR3600 also not very good too?

Yeap..normal user wont notice if its DNS problem..

A bit slow for Unifi, but very fast for other provide..

If do will give rebate, I already got it since years ago..

I got ask when Streamyx time and Unifi time..they just ignore me..


By the way, just ordered Asus RT-N14UHP today at Lazada for RM227 after sHawTY recommended..and going to replace the orange white DLink router given by TM..

Is it very easy to setup the router for the IPTV?

Found this Youtube for Unifi Setup, but no info for IPTV, is it all included in the profile? Just plug in the cable to LAN Port 4 will do?

Without vlan tag, there is no way I can use Unifi IPTV?
I just bought the RT-N14UHP, mean I cant use IPTV for this router?

No..password for your unifi internet is different..every service got different password..

I got my VIP10 at RM169 earlier..

Now HOPING TM call and offer me RM199 for VIP20..
