My internet is still fine. Though last night I did experience slowness only when loading Facebook.

Taobao OK for me.
I only use Google DNS on router and when I go taobao I am directed to http://sea.taobao.com/ loaded within 2 seconds. And if TM is blocking Google DNS, I wouldn't be able to open some restricted sites that are allowed on GoogleDNS. |

QUOTE(Zakov @ Sep 16 2014, 10:05 PM) Vast majority of the sites that I frequent are now painstakingly slow. Filing a report with TM support first before MCMC. On the line with TM.They already acknowledge of the China issue but not really admitting even the slowness to Singapore. Screwed around with the agent on the line lol. 30 minutes just to see how they're doing their job although with these faults being posted publicly. It seems that they're just closing a blind eye. When you report slow, they do basic troubleshoot with you. When I mentioned about slowness to Singapore, China and few other websites, their usual scripts fail to work. I won't pressure the agent, I'll pressure their backend more. Bloody idiots already acknowledge the issue but still not rectified thus far. If this was in Singapore, sudah kena screw upside down no mother father that kind one (not kidding, I work with a telco in Singapore.). Although technical problems will not compensate but still, they're right, they pay $39.90 monthly but if get bad connection then not worth, not to mention they're on fiber |

QUOTE(meeprat @ Sep 16 2014, 10:33 PM) Timeouts loading websites like Google, Yahoo, CNN and FTP servers located in US, Singapore, UK. Even WhatsApp seems to be affected. Messages are taking longer to be sent (clock symbol at the side of the messages instead of the usual tick/2 ticks) and constantly getting error messages when trying to download pictures sent via Whatsapp (Download failed error). I can confirm that.ping to www.starhub.com, timeout all the way. ping to info.singtel.com, 60ms on average. ping to www.m1.com.sg, 2 time outs of 4 tries. ping to google ok. avg 7ms |

QUOTE(nicky0322 @ Sep 16 2014, 10:44 PM) Bro, try ping this singapore server IP of mine: 128.199.178.242. Let me know the result ya. My side maxis got average 21ms. 58-60-90-80Looks like it is some peering issue going on. I am on maxis fibre and I am fine, but my customers that used UniFi just went shit with the connection. Really can't imagine TM lost its advantage of latency in terms of speed to maxis now. >_>" This post has been edited by patienceGNR: Sep 16 2014, 10:49 PM |

QUOTE(alyem @ Oct 12 2014, 06:58 PM) When to Lowyat this afternoon, almost got the RT N14UHP @ RM240 but the technician told me that it is not easy to do the setting myself. If you want to buy RT-N12HP, check on the box and it has to say "Hardware Revision : B1". Do not get A1. I have two and they're both faulty. Asus representative personally came to my office to pass me the B1 version. Testing it for a week now and it seems to be ok. So.. endup buying nothing today... What about RT N12HP? Still testing in progress. About the setup, it is easy. Within 5-10 minutes, provided you have your unifi pppoe id and password, all will be smooth sailing. |

Only the credit period has been shortened from 30 to 21 days. Before 911 (that's Sep 11! So using the 30 days credit period, it should be 18 Oct but the 21 day new ruling made the due date to 10 Oct. Therefore the email is definitely NOT true! Don't take my word for it. Check your unifi billing or at https://occ.unifi.my/HSBBCustomerPortal/HSB...erPortal.portal Don't know how telco billing works, but sending out these emails. Bill Cycle is always i.e 20 October - 19 Nov. 20 Nov - 19 Dec. Due Date is for you to make your payment. Kenapa la Malaysia banyak orang bodoh. |

YouTube is slow. I attempt to download from the website and getting only 250kb/s
On UniFi 10Mbps. 110.xxx IP. This IP range is always problematic, same as 60.5x 20x.xxx and 175.xxx OK |

QUOTE(l4nunm4l4y4 @ Dec 15 2014, 11:51 PM) Hmmm...what's with my Unifi ? Same here. Downloading from a host that is always giving me 1.2Mb/s now only 10-30kb/s. Speedtest: ![]() But when I download, the speed is barely 30kb/sec for the past 2 days? Changed from my day#1 DNS from Google DNS to OpenDNS. Same results, ie Speedtest shows "great" DL/UL but actual download is < 30kb/sec ? Any ideas why ? What else do I need to check ? btw bro, are you in Klang Valley? i remember i saw TM announced that within klang valley users will face disruption/slowness. Here it is... They've just reverted to me. https://twitter.com/TMConnects/status/544666636851363840 This post has been edited by patienceGNR: Dec 16 2014, 12:09 PM |

QUOTE(x3dn16 @ Dec 16 2014, 03:29 PM) Hi, I got the call to upgrade with RM20 discount as well, still waiting for the upgrade... My max download speed is 1.25Mb/s using IDM, paired with AllDebrid.wanted to check with you, after the upgrade, what is the download speed you have when you are downloading?? I got 500kbps only when I'm at 5MB package, does it means now at 10MB package I will only get 1MBps when downloading? Thanks |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 16 2014, 03:46 PM) I can't answer you yet because my line is still having issues but should be around 1.2MBps. It is around 10000/8. Fruitie, sorry ah off topic a bit, can I pm you regarding a trade/sales, as i sight u have a trade enforcer tag? Tad bit serious imo. My 5Mbps can get around 600kBps. I used to get 6-7MBps when I was using LTE to download my stuff. This is already a huge compromise for me. If you're OK, reply me here or straight PM me and I'll tell you the story. |
