Yes, same to mine, TM DNS problem. I thought upgrading Mikrotik RouterOS caused the unstable connection. Luckily didn't downgrade.

What's your budget and what's your objective? If low budget but want very good performance, buy a super long LAN cable =). I have not used homeplug, but should work. Wifi repeater easiest in my opinion.

RM 169 if TM calls you.
RM 179 if you call TM.

Not necessary, I received call from TM offering RM179 to upgrade from VIP5 to VIP10, I asked isn't it there is Rm169 offer as well? The CS said currently the offer available is RM179.

So it may depend on their offering.

call? i have my installation afternoon later with 5mb package, wish to upgrade it to 10mb.
so i can call to TM request for 10mb package with rm179 by later?

Yes, you can try.
As far as I knew, promotion/offering always changing from time to time, as this kind of promotion is on specific basic.

UniFi came and install on morning, I called and upgraded to 20Mbps for 229 in the afternoon.
So it's possible but depending on promotion.

QUOTE(nabelon @ May 17 2014, 03:41 PM)
hi there, ive relocated from ipoh to lestari putra near equine park, seri kembangan since early april. applied for relocation, till now they are saying no port. full port and etc.

Went to Tm Point twice, they ask me to wait, but still no advice on whether i should upgrade to streamyx. I dunno what to do but wait n wait. Any idea on what is the next step ?
*
If you still want to use Unifi. Log a complaint to SKMM saying that Unifi is telling you the port is full. Normally they'll have to find a way to make it happen.

I using Unifi since 2013. More than a year, and my standard tm router, L7 working fine although i open it 24/7. Unifi quite good for me. I even can get full 5 bar even i were 10 m far than my house.
