2 month ago i registered unifi for my new house.after 2 days of using 5mbps,i'm sick of it then call up the CS and ask for upgrade.just tell them that you wanted to upgrade to 10mbps and ASK for any discount.

that's what i did and she offered me RM179 without HyppTV

i upgraded from 10 to 20. called them and asked them to give better pricing. got their special discount offered and took the upgrade. of course they tried to sell their hypptv but when i told them dont want was no problem getting the discount.

which number you guys call for request the promotion price?
I tried and called for many times, all of them told me the same which they can't grant me the promotion price RM 179 for upgrading to VIP 10.
they mentioned that is offer from telemarketing, i have to wait for it, and i can't request.

help!!!

I'm in the same situation. Just now I've filed a formal request in the customer portal. I hope they'll contact me soon.

originally they only wanted to offer 229. i insisted that they had a 30 RM off deal. so the girl told me must check and she will get back to me. next day call and say 219 can be given if agree on the spot to upgrade. so i agreed - 219 without hypptv (just the free channels). pretty good deal to me cause i signed up for 10 MB initially and paid 199 for it.

Has anyone tried using someone else's STB to replace a broken one? Can just buy a second hand to use or any settings needed at TM side?

Just want to update you guys. Finally my call was received by an agent who was willing to upgrade for me the rm179 package. But she said I have to wait 1-2 days for it to be activated. Is that normal?

1300881221. You've to keep calling. I think only some senior agents know the procedure becoz once I overheard the agent (maybe new guy) asking another agent (maybe another new guy too). If they're not sure, they don't approve. Maybe that's what happened to me before.

guys does urs unifi throttle youtube around 9 PM - 12 AM?

UNIFI VIP10 here cant watch youtube around that time keep buffering.

I can watch Netflix & hulu plus 1080p without any issue, when i want to watch YouTube keep buffering 720p.
