Installed VIP10 3 weeks ago.
Everything is fine so far. Very happy with it until I received a call from Astro just a couple of minutes ago. Sigh. |

Hi I would like to check with those who has experience postponing/deferring the 2-year contact. Here's my situation.
I subscribed to VIP20, 2/3 months ago. Currently I'm working offshore, signed up for a two-month job somewhere in Sarawak. And I'm looking at another 2 months extension, which means 4 months away from home. Now I would like to defer the contract/stop the service and billing for at most 4 months. IMHO I see no reason this cannot be done. I have done this before with Maxis two years ago when I stayed Australia for a 3-month course. They have no problem stopping the billing and I resumed my contract after I'm back. Is this possible? |

QUOTE(LEVIATHAN @ May 26 2014, 02:29 PM) Hi I would like to check with those who has experience postponing/deferring the 2-year contact. Here's my situation. should be possible, but depends on TM's voluntary suspension policies.I subscribed to VIP20, 2/3 months ago. I have done this before with Maxis two years ago when I stayed Australia for a 3-month course. They have no problem stopping the billing and I resumed my contract after I'm back. Is this possible? most telcos will suspend billing if they receive voluntary suspension request. just give TM a call as ask for voluntary suspension (with reason of your 4-months offshore work). Review the T&Cs, billing, charges, etc etc. |

Hi all
Planning to subscribe VIP5 soon. Whats the best way to go about it? Walk in, agent or sign up online? Is it true that you pay less if it is done online? (Cut out the middleman). Also is the relocation fee still waived? Any hidden costs I should know about? Thanks in advance |
